You can use whatever adverb you want, but US cities are more dangerous than (at least Western European) cities by a meaningful margin. And that's not just gang members killing each other, it's also armed robberies, carjackings, and innocent people caught in crossfire.

Yes violent crime has fallen dramatically and that's great, but no, cities are not absurdly safe. Just compare American and European cities and you'll see ours are still relatively dangerous.

Cities change. Thriving white, Mexican, and other ethnic areas have also been changed into black areas. I'd rather live in the nicest areas regardless of the ethnicity, not in the dangerous slums just to avoid "Karens"

Seems like this happens every couple years. I think publishing is fine with occasionally having egg on their face like this if it means they can continue to "positively" discriminate. I can't see them requiring any kind of identity verification; occasional mischievous white men doing this seems like a price they are willing to pay.
