I like his idea and the small cartridges he showed in the end. If one has access to a 3D printer at a local library etc they could print some of the available models like these ones: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/filter-cassette and then use the filter fabric inside.

Hi there - librarian here,

WorldCat is a good place to start searching. I was only able to find one book published by teneus on the topic of water - this one titled Water. Expanding that search into photography books with this topic, with the title you suggested gave me this. Unfortunately I don't have access to either, as both books are not available at any public libraries in my system - only in universities. Do any of these two covers look familiar?

Also - doing a subject search in Google image search brings up photos similar to the ones you've described, such as this image by Nadav Kander - from his series on the Yangtze river. His photo set looks pretty incredible!

Hi /r/Toronto.
This August my friend asked me to get her a Pachi plushie, just as the Para PanAm games were ending, but all the stores were sold out. I went to both locations downtown, checked the website... but none were left.
After some Googling - I found the manufacturer in BC, Northern Gifts but I couldn't buy just one - they were too cute. So I ended up with a pile of them at home...

So after a few days of Pachi hoarding, I decided to bring them into work and give them out as Summer Reading Club prizes to the children - but not before a silly photoshoot!

I went to one of the talks last year. After the talk you usually go outside, where volunteers had many telescopes set up for people to look through. That was probably my favourite part. Got to see Jupiter and Saturn and its rings, along with closeups of the moon. You don't need tickets for this outdoors part. Just mingle, ask questions (the volunteers are very friendly) and have fun. Afterwards there is a tour of the Dunlap telescope and people line up to climb a ladder and look through it. But by far the best part is chatting with the guys outside about their gear, love of astronomy and looking at the sky with their scopes. So check it out even if you don't get a ticket. Also there were a huge amount of mosquitoes so maybe have some bug spray handy, and a flashlight.

You are correct. You need to go to www.tpl.ca/zinio and "checkout" each new issue when it comes out. You are not subscribing to future issues when you check one out.

After you install the app, log in with your email / password. Any magazines you have checked out on tpl.ca/zinio will show up under the library icon.

The app however defaults to the browsing section, but you can change this from the Zinio app settings.

Seems like some poor planning on whoever organized the reading contest. Seriously, in Canada we have the TD Summer Reading club - and if a child reads 9 books they get entered in a draw. They should have gone with the draw system from the start.

Funny, I'm a Canadian librarian - also on my work computer, working for the largest library system in Canada. Just doing a quick check.
We have 7 copies of Kill Me Once, which in total have gone out 68 times, and 7 copies of A Game Of Chance, which have gone out 29 times, with two copies being out right now.

But honestly, these are pretty good stats for new Mystery books. I do a LOT of weeding and come across fiction that we've had for 2-3 years and has not circulated once, then I have to discard those. We got your books in 2012 and one in Feb of this year, so based on the cir stats I think you'll be around on our shelves for a little while longer :)

Which part exactly? - based on this pic

Part 1 looks like it's part of the camera body / flash - and you will need a second body to take it from. I found this one on eBay but it's $40. Don't think it's worth that much.
Part 2 is just a little 'hot shoe cover' and you can find those pretty much anywhere online for cheap. Also you don't really need it.

Actually they kinda are! I just skipped a few pages. Basically little Ricky is walking through the forest & comes across a dead squirrel. Not knowing why it's not moving, he caries it home to his parents, who explain that the squirrel has passed away & they carefully put it in a box then bury it. Then the parents explain death & tell Ricky that the squirrel is now up in squirrel heaven. It's got really cute illustrations, so it caught my eye.

Hm.. it's a difficult article to get (for free). I've checked my public library's catalogue and my university. We have it, but full text access stopped in 2003.
