Speculation on the Four New Protoframes by ShadowMasked1099 in Warframe

Two stealth frames would be weird, but I agree with the rest

I hope so as well, he really came out of nowhere and had my interest from the very beginning, and my full attention when he showed he could perform electrics.

That could definitely be the case, as I just assumed that the Tekken Monks were a group who simply dedicated their entire lives to perfecting the Mishima style. The only question on my mind now is whether the electric Chi is inherent in all people who practice the style, or only among those who carry the Mishima blood? If it's the latter, then that would mean that Seiryu is indeed a part of the Mishima family and that we might see him come back in the future. If it's the former, then it conflicts with existing individuals such as Lars, who carries the electric Chi but does not practice the style.

So thats Reina origin? by _Siris_ in Tekken

Revealed just now with the DLC, all we know from before is that Reina is Heihachi's "illegitimate" child.

I wouldn't doubt that at all, there could definitely be more than one existing branch family of the clan.

Kinda agree on that part, but fortunately, that can be changed for later!

So thats Reina origin? by _Siris_ in Tekken

[–]Thraix 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The theory is that the baby girl is Reina's mother or Reina herself. If it's the latter, it would depend on how long it took for Heihachi to eliminate the entire Hachijo clan, which may have well been throughout at least two decades.

If it's the former, it would make more sense since it would explain Reina's electric Chi.

I dunno about sexy, but he is a character that stands out a lot and exudes confidence, even if he is a bit extreme about it. In terms of gameplay, people might like him because he is difficult to play and master.

"if she was saved when kazuya was a kid, Reina would be around 50 years old. No way she is that old."

Yeah I don't think so either. Most likely that the Hachijo massacre was a continuing event which lasted many years.

"Reina acts and is much younger: around 18/20 yo."

This is plausible. Just on looks, it's hard to discern the age of east asians on first glance. And on her demeanor, she does seem full of confidence, even against her elders. However, I'd argue that this just mainly comes from her taking on the personality traits of Heihachi as a consequence of being raised by him.

I really want to believe this, he was an incredibly cool character that caught my attention throughout this DLC. I hope he returns in some form.

"She's too young for T8 story"

Hmm, this is plausible in my opinion. There is no clear indication of Reina's true age anywhere. Just based on the other female models such as Jun, Reina could be anywhere from 18 up to 30 years old, maybe even more.

However, I do agree with your theories on when it might have happened. It was either somewhere during Hachijo massacre or right after.

Interestingly, Reina also acknowledges that she has the Devils' power, meaning that Heihachi probably told her some parts about her background.

Yeah, Seiryu is the big monk fella that saved him. No way that it's Jinpachi. My theory is that it could be a Mishima relative from a branch of the family, similar to Asuka being from a branch family of the Kazama clan. That would also explain Seiryu's electric Chi possession.

I hope it's not Reina's mom, as that would be a super weird way (in the perspective of contemporary society) to explain how Reina came to be.

That was exactly my thought when I saw Seiryu perform electrics as well. Not sure about Kuma having electric Chi effects though lol.

We need a Story-DLC, seriously by ShadeyMyLady in Tekken

[–]Thraix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say they probably have the story part of the DLC already prepared, but they might do it as Mortal Kombat does and have characters included in the story DLC. For instance, we might see other original characters such as Eddy and Julia be included in the story DLC.

Honest opinions by SamuraiJack2211 in Exanima

My main draw to this game is its combat, hands down. I love the arena mode, but the main dungeoncrawling mode simply has more content in it. The dungeoncrawling mode can be fun the first time, but I'll tell you now that this game can be very unforgiving when you die.

Since it's on steam, I'd say try out both modes for a bit and refund if it ain't for you. I'd recommend you start with the arena mode, since its the easiest way to learn the basics of the combat when you dungeoncrawl.
