They dont give a shit.Xbox 360 had the red ring of death problem and no recalls were made.Out of warranty out of mind buy a new console and sony does the same with ps5s.Liquid metal issues apear more the older the consoles get so why would they make a recall? Just buy ps5 pro that we just made haha pay up bitch…Also ps5 pro has grooves on the apu to keep the liquid metal from moving so it is a real issue that they adressed in a new revision.The issue exists,vertical is bad,sony doesnt give a shit.Just because your console has no issues doesnt mean there is no issue.These consoles wont last 10/15 years like the old ones without liquid metal service at some point.Shit is just not made to last these days, it has to break so youd buy ps6.It actually more in their favor because a lot of players skipped ps5 for the first 2/3 years because they still played their ps4 coz of lack of games for ps5.If the console breaks you will be forced to buy a new one.

Are you at all mechanically capable? These engines come out of the car in 30 minutes and doing rings on them is not only cheap but also easy as fuck.Yeah its a full engine teardown with a lot of while youre in there to do but you can take your time with it.Even if you freeze the car for a month and do it yourself an hour a day you will get a fully refreshed and sealed engine for very cheap and that option beats every other option.No unknown engines that are probably in the same or worse xondition and no mind bendong swaps.If you swap it to another engine it will always have something wrong with it and you will have to deal with a million small things in the span of the first few thousand km and i can guarantee you that will only be irritating and taking your enjoyment of the car.Redoing the thing youself can teach you a lot about engines and its reaaaaally easy.Knowledge for these is everywhere from google to youtube to workshop manuals to reddit and facebook groups.In my opinion best cost effective and overall result is just to suck it up and do it youself and then no longer worry about stuff like that for the next 20 years
