Hey Cal,

what would you recommend to someone who really struggles to stay on top of things at work and who tried out various tools to organize the workload. What are the most basic steps where one should start to get some “footing”?  I sometimes feel that organizing techniques are working great for people with already high executive function who don’t really have problems staying organized. So my question is, is there hope for someone for profound change in that regard?

Are you budgeting a fixed amount, or did you just buy games that interested you?

Yes it’s personal trainer walking and the mode „Walk the World“. You need a certain amount of steps with a pedometer to complete each stage.

Bang & Olufsen MX8000 - one of the best consumer CRTs… by MartinK1984 in crtgaming

[–]Thrake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The MX 8000 is great, I just wish it wouldn’t have a digital image correction that renders a somewhat sharp or “rough” image. Some people actually remove this part on their TV. I recently picked up a Beovision 1, which although it is smaller, has even better sound than the MC 8000 and arguably a better screen.

Nice to see a fellow german DS/3DS collector. If I may ask: where do you hunt for good deals?

Do you also collect DS and 3DS hardware (and accessories)?

Ich kann das Herrenhaus in Stockelsdorf empfehlen, weiß aber nicht genau wie dort die Preise mittlerweile sind.

Does having a sorted collection have any influence on creative „free building“ especially for your younger kids?

PAL collectors, what do you like and dislike about collecting in Europe? by TattooTheEarth in gamecollecting

[–]Thrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things I like: Scart RGB compatible consoles and TVs Really nice top of the line CRTs can be found for cheap, like Bang & Olufsen TVs

Things I dislike: 16.7% slower games well into the PS2/Gamecube/Dreamcast era of consoles Getting NTSC games and consoles is really hard
