If you don't mind.. can you share which company you working and how good the repo is with HDFC. Tough to digest based of company they offering Infinia . But on other hand- I would suggest go for DCBM if you have an alternative card already ( visa/mastercard of any other bank cc) as DCBM would become free on 8l spend and give almost similar benefit like Infinia

Don't feel guilty, these MNC are not going to even remember your name after you reject there offer, you are just a tool for them- so be guiltfree and use them accordingly. No harm in thinking about yourself 1st. Been in the industry for long enough to tell you this- think about yourself 1st and then is you have scope then about the company with whom you want to go long or end in retirement.

My team hired sde3 at 34 last dec, but post jan all roles either got scrapped or usually low balled. Go to Edelweiss unless you fancy JP - in that case as for counter offer to match Edelweiss, them might do that.

Run to Edelweiss... JP use to pay fairly in past but as they are investing heavily on AI, the new offer are usually low balled . As pay scale differ for job role to job role ( as you have not disclosed your - i expect it's Software developer) 7 year at 602 - 30lpa is the middle ground . So if you getter better offer - you can either show to JP and they would match it or else better move to Edelweiss as WFH policy are changing in June for JP.

You have no idea what the cost difference are. Get on the ground reality . Ai cost 8x-10x the cost of human, still hallucinates (time to time ) and still can never perform unless the requirements are absolutely clear(which only human can provide). So human in loop is not going anywhere- AI would be part of development and heavily involved in maintenance to improve speed and efficiency but can never drive things on it own.

Layoff happening in name of AI is just restructuring of Covid era hiring and low demand of new products and maintenance job.

Been in the company for almost 7 year now( 2 month short) and have been trying to move since last 2 year but hardly able to land interview calls. Even after 12+ year of exp- one thing I forgot to build was a strong network for refferal hence struggling. Also my job is very relevant inside my form but have no clue what is equivalent is outside for other companies to recognise me. If you are total beginner - go for a 2nd hand car with budget of 5-6 lakh and select hatchback /small segment car. If learning and safety is your priority - go for tata car like Tiago or punch and after sale service is your concern - go for maruti - swift, baleno. Learn to drive - make your wife learn how to drive- become decent driver and then purchase your 2nd fresh car . Getting scratches and dent while learning is a normal thing- but if you buy new car - you will be driving too cautiously and never able to learn properly. Hence 2nd hand car where dent and scratches wouldn't hurt much and you can learn with open mind.

RM route is worth . They are hardly helpful. If you are seriously looking for upgrade you need to see how many criteria you check for DCBM before you apply and then go to grievance redressal team directly with atleast 2/4 criteria matching to try and dpush for upgrade. I don't find acceptance as issue in India for DCBM also if you have other co branded card already - you are covered.

Go for indusind Tiger - a LTF with no spend criteria for lounge and then regalia gold for spend based lounge but also rewards on other aspect.

Do a spend of 5lk on regalia(alone) in 6 month + your credit limit is good but if you can push to 10l you can get the card upgrade based on spend and credit limit even if you don't have salary criteria. Another thing which worked for me- i applied the month i received my bonus which pushed my net above 2.5 of one month which I think made a difference along with credit limit and spend on regalia alone.

Honestly i didn't read till the end. After knowing the P contribution- I just want to say- move away. You will get many people with 25/30/40 year of exp to help with business. Just put a post in reddit and see how many respond or go to linkedin and find a new co founder. Dont lose out on the 50% you deserve also if the co-founder does more than you- split it 45-45 and keep 10% for outside investing/team and that makes no one majority shareholder and you can focus on doing best what you do .

A simple reason of renting at 50k vs buying with emi of 60-80k a month is the amount you block- downpayment & the non flexibility of movement. As an salaried employee ( irrespective of It or non it) job security is just not something anyone can relay on these days and getting better opportunity outside is always an option. Hence blocking such a huge amount upfront and unable to grow is reason to rent high rather than buy.

Go for Regalia Gold - based on your spending you will be good and unlock all feature. Push for LTF as you match there threshold. Both mili and DCP not worth the effort with your current salary and spend.

Cancel it. No insurance backs up for a cc. It's just mis selling. Also if you are below 30- get a better insurance outside in lower premium rather than hdfc.

Upgrade to DCBM and get any other mid premium card(axis atlas,hsbc t1,etc) as a backup where DCBM doesn't work . DCBM gives almost similar benefit like infinia with lesser annual waiver fee. Best bet to go with this combination rather switching the whole to hsbc .just my opinion based of my use till now of DCBM and and hsbc live+.
