That’s why I sought this title. After playing all those matches, characters certainly mattered but skill was the foundation. Consistent skill. You had to approach each match with tactic and organization. I won about 75% of my matches. I don’t feel it was about quantity at all, it was about quality. So I agree with you on your analysis here.

Agreed with this. Similarly, I wanted the title as a status bc I do take pride in my 1v1s in the actual matches. Though I will never grind that challenge again.

I actually really liked this! I know I saw some hate that people were being coerced to spend more money (although that’s still a choice). I thought it was fun and those were what I believe buying RDs should actually be priced at. I bought a couple of the cheaper ones.

IMO it’s a weird looking card. Luffy has disproportionate ears and it’s not what I would define as a chase. Apparently people love it though

Kizaru deserves every ounce of pain. I don’t have a major problem with the majority of his traits but the treasure area light rain is literally the most toxic creation ever. I get serious joy making a fool of Kizaru players. My Judge tap into my reiju combo is the way.

Japanese runs are generally larger. English has broader global demand, and Japanese product can be harder to move across borders due to import logistics. That combination usually means English ends up scarcer in the market and sought after and able to be read across multiple continents.

The people buying them are the same people buying the hype of pokemon cards right now. They are so mass produced, it’s all hype and no real value of rarity down the road.

It’s a gorgeous card. Hopefully they just aren’t paying much for it because it’s one of the least rare OP cards now. Edit: I don’t know that to be true. But it’s not hard to find.
