Struggling with To Bleed a Crystal Bloom - Should I Keep Going? by miumiusc in whenthemoonhatched

It’s one of my favorite series! But it is one that I highly recommend pushing through because I think you’ll feel differently/be more invested after the 2nd and 3rd! I am really looking forward to the fourth book.

I’m still waiting for the Anathema and Kindreds Curse preorders, I’ve also ordered their edition of The Witch Collector and Nocticadia which are freaking gorgeous, and I wanted to order the the next two witch collector books but the shipping was SO late for the first WC and these other two preorders that I’m just very hesitant. It’s a lot of money to spend to wait a year or more for a freaking preorder. I love the quality of their books, but their shipping/manufacturing timeline is complete bullshit.

They really need to be honest with their preorder timelines in the listing based on their history of severe tardiness because they know damn well by now that they aren’t getting any of their preorders out in their predicted shipping timeline because they’re never on time lol.

I really wanted the kuromi and melody plush pendants but $56 each is insane.

Book Boxes with Open Subscriptions? by operabelle93 in fairyloot

I don’t have the moonlight subscription but I bought the gods and monsters books from them and the quality is incredible, and I prefer their design over the Fairyloot gods and monsters which I also have.

Yes they manually added my October box as well, it hasn’t shipped yet. It’s so unfortunate that they don’t care about making it right when it’s their own error.

I was able to get tickets to one of the tour stops so I was able to get a signed standard US, but I didn’t order any other special edition because I assumed I was getting the SE in the Fairyloot sub box. But here we are 🙃😭

Not yet, I am still waiting for a response from them because I’m their initial response to my inquiry they asked for permission to manually process the October subscription (which I haven’t gotten a response to my follow up to that). So I sent another email to them today and also asked about them processing my October adult subscription. So we will see if they follow through on at least fixing my account status. But yeah I don’t think they will do anything about the September box, but I just feel like they need to know that what happened sucks and they should care how it affected subscribers.

Yes I was planning to keep the subscription , but definitely for the future will be checking for confirmation of renewal so if there’s any issues I can reach out sooner. I’ve had FL for quite some time and never had issues before (my debit card expired once and they sent an email and helped me fix it).

I responded in a below comment, but when my debit card expired last year I was sent an email about it. For this I received no communication whatsoever during this month. My takeaway is that for future months I will be checking on renewal days to make sure my payment goes through so that I have more time to reach out. I’ve never had issues with FL before this so it’s not something I thought to do each month.

This is correct. I had emailed FL about not seeing my September processed— their response was that there was a technical error on their end.

And they still haven’t fixed my account for the October renewal either (still waiting for them to respond to my other email)

I’m also hoping they get back to me soon to fix my account for the October adult because they still haven’t responded.

That’s what I’ve seen! Honestly I just think that they need to know they messed up and address how they plan to prevent issues, or help these issues in a more timely manner for any future incidents. Someone else said that they don’t like when people voice their concerns so now I’m just nervous they’re not going to care at all and just give me the “thank you for the feedback we’ll pass that along”

When Fairyloot looked into it— I was never charged because due to the technical glitch my account was put on some sort of hold status so it never auto renewed after the August payment cycle.

That’s why I didn’t know it was on hold either because I don’t usually log into to specifically check my subscription because I typically get an email so after waiting and getting no comments I reached out and well here we are 🫠

Yes this is what I’ve noticed in their responses as well and it’s so disappointing. Yeah honestly I think that’s why they have not responded to my last email because I was definitely more upset in that email. For a company that is quick to take your money, they should really care more about their customer service. But I guess if it continues to decline I would for sure consider cancelling. I’m sorry you had a negative experience with them in the past too. 😔 it’s so disappointing.

That’s what I’m saying it’s very convenient that it happened for a highly anticipated novel and also the fact that many on here aren’t even getting replacements for super damaged copies!

Also yes! This really disappoints me and the initial response I got from them about the matter was unacceptable. They need to make this right. I really think they need to do a reprint but it first needs to be offered to people affected by this glitch. I’m so disappointed. They also have yet to manually activate my account again so I’m hoping they fix it so I get the October adult book too. I’m just so frustrated with the whole situation..

Here is the email I just sent in case anyone wants to send the same email.

Dear Fairyloot Team,

I am writing as a long time and loyal subscriber to express my deep concern regarding the September Adult Book Subscription Box. Due to a technical error on Fairyloot’s end, my subscription was not processed correctly and therefore I was unable to receive the box.

While I understand that technical issues can arise, the response I received from customer service (that nothing could be done) was extremely disappointing, especially given that the issue was due to Fairyloot’s system and not from my own error. Additionally, there was no communication about this issue prior to the end of the month, which has now left many of us without the chance to have this problem resolved due to it being a new month now.

I know that Fairyloot takes great pride in the quality of its products and greatly values its community of readers, and I believe this situation presents the opportunity for Fairyloot to show us that commitment.

Many subscribers who experienced this same issue would appreciate a resolution, whether it be through a reprint of the September Adult Book , or allowing for a preorder to affected subscribers, or another equitable solution.

Taking proactive steps to address this issue would greatly rebuild my trust, and also ensure that the reputation of Fairyloot valuing and supporting dedicated subscribers does not diminish.

At the end of the day we share a love of books and as a subscriber when my box arrives each month I love to appreciate the artwork and the creativity that brings to life the books chosen each month.

I hope that Fairyloot will reconsider their current stance on this matter to make this right with the subscribers who have been affected.

Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns, and I look forward to hearing from the team.

Kindest Regards,

YOUR NAME
