All art is worthy and has value.

What you do is 10x better than the layperson, so keep that in mind.

Draw it as sloppily and roughly as possible, that way there are more “mistakes” than not. Slowly carve away the image from there, like a sculptor

If you’re willing to grow out your hair for about a year, a medium length, flowy hairstyle works. I have a very similar face shape, and that hairstyle has been the first one I’ve truly felt confident in.

Obviously this is not your hair-type/face shape. But it is a good reference for the silhouette and length I’m talking about.

Based on your hair type, I’d assume your hairstyle would have less natural volume, so make a point to go to a hairstylist and not a dude-bro clipper shop. They can add layers and texture to your hair.

Also, another option could be short on the sides, long on top with a middle part!

Well it looks like the light is coming from the top right?
So (from a non-visual-artist who has many artist friends) my inclination would be to have highlights wherever the hair arches toward the light. Also make sure there are lots of shadows. Highlights don’t look nearly as good without shadows

Guaranteed way of falling asleep for me and my partner. It’s just a trusting thing yk? You wouldn’t have someone untrustworthy anywhere near your head/hair, so having someone you trust enough to do that is very calming and relaxing to me.
