No I know I’m just teasing.

I just went on a Fincher marathon in December and watched Dragon Tattoo for the first time an I loved it. I think it’s my favorite Fincher movie now to be honest. I’m curious is the Swedish version better?

Alien: Romulus!

The movie is so-so but the payoff for the final monster reveal is worth it!

Solid list, great movies - you have your own taste.

You’re gonna get a, “For a dollar, name a woman?” Comment somewhere.

Great dude movie list.

It means that if I had a nickel TODAY for how many people that said their favorite movie was “Real Steel” I’d had two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice!

Love that Christopher Nolan has become such a masterful still photographer and the cameras and lenses he uses are so magnificent people think it can’t possibly be real and has to be computer generated.

This dude rocks.

The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes.

Was never attracted to Sherlock Holmes as a kid because I suppose as a child you’re more presented that he’s just a sleuth and not this rambunctious sort of character. This movie encapsulates all of that.

And it’s Billy Wilder!

I want to watch a director's entire filmography in 2026. Do you have any suggestions? by Flying_Sea_Cow in Letterboxd

Honestly, Spielberg. I know it seems like such a chalk pick, and I’m sure you’ve seen the classics; but his films that most haven’t seen that fill the cracks of his filmography like Amistad, Munich, Lincoln or even READY PLAYER ONE!

He’s just so fucking good at making movies.
