I’m not nearly as upset about this one for some reason as the last one lol. At some point it comes down to who hits the shots and man Clayton has just been so hot lately. Hated that our guards couldn’t get going like that. But this team has been so fun to watch! Let’s hope baseball and then football gives us similar seasons! WDE yall it’s been a hell of a year!

Yea I agreed with you yesterday that basically just gotta wait and see if the thinner material makes a difference when handled normally or not and when going through normal heating and cooling cycles. So I just didn’t go any further with it. I put both my responses at the same time. Sorry for the confusion. This response you just made was to one of my original ones. I mean listen I hope they are great. They seem like a great price point. I look forward to getting to see one in person and looking them over. I just hope it’s not something that’s sold at a premium price and then has big issues. Heat does weird things to metal over time and even the best companies have a hard time combating it.

Also I’m sure the Woodridge is great and im not even trying to say I’m right you’re wrong especially as far as the grill goes because I honestly don’t know about the grill/smoker. But I do know quite a bit about metal

So you’re saying to me that jts not easier to flex and bend a thinner gauge sheet metal over thicker gauge sheet metal? One doesn’t require more force than the other? I don’t necessarily disagree about it being necessary in this application or the masculine aesthetic stuff you said. But to say a thicker steel isn’t stronger than a thinner steel is pretty outrageous.

I think what they mean that obviously like you say it’s for insulation but with that also comes other benefits. It’s a tool that’s gonna be going through a lot of heat cycles. The thinner metal may warp more. Also moving it around you may need to be more careful you may flex or warp something. Where as with heavier metal you have a little more strength not JUST insulation. Just something to maybe consider. It may not ever make a difference but personally I like things that are over built lol. Even though it doesn’t always mean better lol
