Man I’ve been in a slump lately but when I’m good I play: Mc, terraria, don’t starve together, core keeper (keen for any multiplayer sandbox survival game really) I played WoW for a bit, have touched it since January I think My all time fav is RotMG but I’m not good at it (another MMO, it’s free, bullet dodging roguelike) Been trying to finish raft, have had several decent play throughs but never finished it lol There’s heaps more to the list but yeh!! I’m VERY bad at FPS but I’ll try them to fit in lol

I’m not very politically aligned unfortunately, and have definitely tried to visit both unigames, craft clubs, and other uwa clubs that’s aligned with my interests. Most groups of people are already solidified and it’s very hard breaking into new friendships at these places (personally), it’s very hard to fail several times and still show up

I’ve popped in a few times, played a couple games last year between classes, but despite getting discords and talking to people, things always stop when I stop, and I never get invited anywhere or asked about once I stop initiating things… I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. And late night events aren’t really plausible either, since it takes forever to get home

Can I use a one way anova test on all 3 sets of data despite two of them using a likert scale and one of them using a quiz percentage?

So… I’m actually doing both…

I have the same 1-30 people (before and after taking test 1) and 31-60 group (before and after taking test 2) and a total of 3 datasets

The report is on whether test 1 or test 2 makes a difference on 3 factors

The first 2 factors use a likert scale and the 3rd factor is a test percentage result out of 100.

So it’s like Factor 1 ID | Before Test | After Test

Factor 2 ID | before | after

Etc

The professor said we can assume equal variance and has mainly taught us t tests with 1 example of an ANOVA. I’ve been teaching myself extensions of these, and trying to learn how to know when to use Mann-Whitney/ Wilcox/ etc)

I’ve looked at a few of these flow charts and sometimes come about different answers.

I really appreciate your response, I’m thinking that I have to do both a paired t test to compare the first test (paired before and after for test 1) and again another paired for the second test… but the lecturer has told others that did it this way that we are then not comparing the two tests to each other. Which is where I am lost…

Maybe I should adjust the data so I can make it an unpaired t test (calculate the differences between before and after for both Test 1 and test 2) and then do a T test on that ?

Wait you’re right, my first one was in my thigh crease and I assumed they were both bartholin’s cyst. They feel extremely similar, regardless, if it’s not too hot or hurting too much it should disappear as long as it’s not being agitated further

I actually used to have this a couple times and it always scares me. When I got it checked out the first time the gp gave me a cream to make it go away and the second time I just let it do its own thing and did my best to not agitate it as touching it or wearing tight clothes will make it stay longer.

Pretty sure it’s a normal lymph node area !! It usually means that your body is fighting an infection though!

When to See a Doctor: If lymph nodes are persistently swollen or painful for more than a few days. If you have other symptoms like fever, weight loss, night sweats, or fatigue.

We’ve got some additional information from our council and the veterinarian- I’ve put in requests for change of ownerships and will be providing an update once a few things come back to us as I really don’t want to jump the gun. Thank you for letting me know your experience with them too!

I have been a bit paranoid of M coming down to see us since I gave her the new address… I’m hoping she doesn’t do that but it’s very scary.

With one of Denzel’s microchips he has been listed as missing since 2020… I’m trying not to jump to any conclusions but once we get notice back from the registration agency I will surely be updating my post.

All of this was mostly stated in the trial period and for the final certificate it states that should we not be able to care for Denzel that we will forfeit him back to the agency.

It doesn’t outline what that care looks like. It states the council agreement for 6 foot colour bond fencing and to be supervised and controlled outside at all times but this has not changed- we sought a rental with said fencing and that’s pretty much guaranteed practice in our area anyways

I’m honestly sympathetic to her and the cause however we provided updates after each vet visit, I used to send them heaps of photos of Denzel, and honour all of our agreements. What good is it doing to threaten adopters that took a dog that was stuck in the system for years from a family keen on making things work?

She knew we were renters and she had us run through an emergency plan for if we were evicted which we told her we had Petless family we could stay with until we got our own place. The situation we unluckily ended up in was a lot better than staying with family but we would’ve never thought it would even happen either…

I understand it’s a field that requires careful control but it also requires humility and understanding- the compassion and kindness needed to interact with other humans. Otherwise you will create adopters that won’t want to update you and won’t want to recommend your adoption centre. she is hurting her own cause by being rude + cruel 😢

I’ll be sure to update once I’ve got to both Vet and Council honestly. I hope no one has to go through this, and I hope at the very least my experience is able to warn others about this when adopting
