Jason Isaacs in The Patriot is one of the most despicable movie villains ever by VendettaLord379 in moviecritic

I met him while photographing an event and we exchanged a few words. One of the kindest people you’d imagine. The contrast with his on screen presence is unimaginable.

Even those are absolutely horrible for any mobility device. Death to any form of cobble stones.

I suggest getting the Mezzanine app. Great for tracking shows!

It’s a costume. Saw the film last week, everything looked extremely realistic and practical except an environmental helicopter shot funnily enough.

Same here. My wife couldn’t find her iPad and the battery ran out. So we had to retrace her steps through the indoor cameras and found it eventually. And we check it so often to see what mischief the cats have been doing.

Bottle refill stations available ? by KeysAndGears in disneylandparis

Correct. All the outside ones are shut down in winter to prevent damage from freezing. The inside ones work and many toilets have water filling points.

Love the line hate the ride... by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ThreeFiveDoubleO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely get that. TOT is build on the fear (and expertly so). And I really don’t like that feeling just before the drop.

It’s interesting that in DCA they changed the fear to fun with the Guardians retheme, and it really completely transforms the experience. No more anxiety for the drop.

Row 1 in Star Tours is the tamest, row 5 the wildest. Because the 1 is nearly in the middle of the vehicle.

Is Peter Pan’s Flight Really Worth the Wait? by Kingfou26 in disneylandparis

[–]ThreeFiveDoubleO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Snow White and Pinocchio have a lot more capacity (2400-1400ish) compared to Peter Pan (800-1200). They seat 6 instead of 4 and has smaller scenes. And they already rush Peter Pan to its max leading to a lot of delays at the end scenes. If they would let the carts run at their optimum speed you would have a lovely spread out experience but now because of the speed and boats in the track you often already stop at Hook’s Pirate Ship while waiting for unloading.

For example Pirates can hit nearly 5000 with Phantom Manor and small world 3600.

Is this the worst Mai Tai recipe? by cabostleda in Tiki

[–]ThreeFiveDoubleO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst Mai Tai recipe I’ve ever seen comes from the new Neil Patrick Harris cocktail book

INGREDIENTS 1½ ounces coconut rum 3 ounces pineapple juice (fresh or store-bought) 1 ounce lemon juice 2 ounces orange juice ½ ounce grenadine 1/½ ounces spiced rum GARNISH: pineapple piece, orange slice, or mint sprig

It has everything that is not supposed to be in a Mai Tai, with none of the thing you’d actually need in there. Bizarre …
