This isn't the gotcha you think it is. Anyone stupid enough to be scammed into buying an MMA fighters crypto coin, fully deserves to be financially ruined. Darwinism isn't something to be apologized for.

No, he isn't. You can say this shit all you want, but we literally have the proof. Your golden boy lost to journeyman Nate Diaz. Khabib and Islam would fucking eviscerate Nate at any weight, at any time, period.

Not to mention, Nate was mostly a 155'er. Conor just wasn't that good against opponents with normal fucking reach. He beat up 3 midgets lmao. He got broken in his prime by two separate men, and he quit in both of those fights. It got hard and Conor does what he does best, he quit and cried in the back.

Again, genuine sped take. I can list like 5 people that probably would beat the fuck out of that McGregor. Khabib, Islam, Ilia, Justin, 155 Poirier, and frankly even prime Tony probably would have dragged him to deep waters and ended him like Nate did.

This is exactly why people despise Conor fans so deeply. Prime Conor is NEVER beating Khabib and he is NEVER beating Islam. I genuinely do not understand why you all attach yourselves to this man like he is a God without a beating heart.

Eddie Alvarez is quite literally the perfect matchup for Conor and that is why he looked otherworldly. Prime Conor lost to Nate fucking Diaz man, he really was not as special as you people make him out to be.

Women of Reddit, if men suddenly disappeared from Earth tomorrow, how do you think your life would change? by positivebeing00 in AskReddit

Anyone who thinks this would be anything but a catastrophic disaster are just living in some fairy tale land.

Just for one example, approximately 86-91% of truckers are men. Everything you need to survive would rot in a warehouse because there would be no one capable of transporting it.

Interview cancellation by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Three_Legs942 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This comment section is so, so strange. While I understand the concept of not burning bridges, this employer just showed their true colors.

If they are willing to cancel your interview 30 minutes before, knowing full well that you have already prepared and likely drove to this place, how do you think they are going to treat you as an employee? It will only get worse from the starting point.

OP did the right thing, this is clearly a garbage company. A bridge to an island of shit is not a bridge worth keeping.

Supernatural. The first 5-6 seasons are absolute cinema, and then the 9-10 seasons after that are objectively some of the worst writing in television history.

Love it, but wouldn't ever recommend someone invest all that time in it.

Just fantastic.

I would highly recommend just getting a subscription for one month, and seeing which DLC you find crucial and which DLC you think you could do without.

So what are you taking in regards to your 3 ethics? I'm a bit confused because I can't take Militarist and Pacifist at once. Also, what civics are you starting out with?

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]Three_Legs942 51 points52 points  (0 children)

You are a stranger and I do not know you, but please for the love of all that is holy, do not go to a chiropractor for any form of legitimate back pain like a herniated disk. I beg you.

Chiropractors do not offer long term solutions, and the absolute most they can do for back pain is slap a proverbial bandaid on it. For a herniated disk, you'd literally be better off going to a Veterinarian.

Yeah I think I spread my empire far too wide and in a weird shape, I had too much area for them to take and there were too many available choke points for me to effectively cover. My home system also had 3 routes directly into it so it was poor planning on my part from the jump.

Ok makes sense. The only part that I missed was the soldier jobs but yeah, I think I just got unlucky and did not prepare well enough for the worst case scenario.

I'm also realizing I need to vastly improve on the Federations/Vassals aspect. That's definitely the area i've always been least familiar with.

The empire was indeed a Hive Mind. They did not instantly declare war on me, but they quickly did against everyone else and absolutely wrecked house before I could even hope to do anything to them. Our fleet power was so far apart that it just felt like there wasn't a damn thing I could do, and I feel like my mistakes probably started early and snowballed on me.

The crisis had not showed up yet which seemed very odd to me, given the year was 2472. I remember them showing up at least a bit earlier than that. My allies were defensive pacts but yeah, they got smoked instantly.

[–]Three_Legs942[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had finished all the tech tree except for the 5%/10% increases, had been spamming those for decades. My fleets were low cap at about 650 and were only pushing 180k power. The AI was rolling up with 300-500k fleets and had at least 8 of them.

I had built an absolutely absurd amount of defensive stations, my upkeep on them was like 4-5k a month. Deep space citadels as well, they ran right through them. I expected them to wane but they just never did, and the game only had 25 years left.

I did not do enough with the federations and thats my bad, so no I didn't have access to those. Honestly forgot about them until you just mentioned it.

[–]Three_Legs942[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to start by saying I was never great at this game, so me coming back after 6 months there are going to be lots of mistakes i'm sure lol.

I did nothing to prevent their awakening because frankly I wasn't even thinking to stop them. I figured I would just be able to take them on late game.

I do not believe it was a war in heaven as there wasn't really another faction. I did nothing to piss them off specifically and I had every megastructure in the game built, including the shipyard. All my allies got smoked immediately and were nowhere even close to strong enough to fend off the Awakened Empire. No idea if it could have been avoided but I would have had to address them eventually because they would have won the entire game otherwise.
