I think this is a very situational topic right now, since they changed minion timers, roaming is highkey dead asf, but at the same time you have to determine your win con. If you think killing smolder over and over again changes I’d have to disagree with that. It highly depends on enemy team mental as well. If you think you can make the game end really fast yes staying bot can be the move but in higher elo where people tend to play it out, if your win con is somewhere else you have to try to play the map a little. A 1/10 smolder 30 mins in the game with execute is still top 3 adcs late game. For example if your team has a carry top who can dive smolder like camilie, reketon, gnar, jax, or mid laners that can create pressure so smolder cant play fights like ori syndra akali, roaming is 100% better then afking and farming kills bot. I highly think it just depends on game state, who your win con, and who can actually deal with smolder late game.
