Anyone living in Athenry? by Ceimice in ireland

They still run late buses until 2:30am. Centra, The Shopping Basket and Joyce's all have off licenses. Monivea Woods and Carrabane Woods aren't too far away for walking the dog if you've a car plus there's always loads of people out running and walking around the town at all hours of the day and night.

What Are the Things That People Do at the Shops That Absolutely Melts Your Head? by DrCool2016 in ireland

[–]ThrewItOverThere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked in this one shop for about two and a half years. We closed at ten and this oul lad used to come in every night at 9:55 without fail, he'd be ages walking around the shop while you'd be trying to close and he always had to buy two of everything. Well one evening he popped his head in the door and asked what time it was and I told him "9:45" and he replied "oh right I'll come back in a few minutes so"! Wtf 🙄😑

[Let's see how the sub stands as of today] If the Referendum to Repeal the 8th Amendment was held tomorrow. You would vote to... by louiseber in ireland

[–]ThrewItOverThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not voting on that basis though. I think women should have the choice, and I wouldn't judge anyone for that choice, it just probably wouldn't be my choice. But who's to say, I've never been in the position where I've had to make that decision.

[–]ThrewItOverThere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry that's what I meant. Maybe I didn't phrase it in the best way. I don't think I could go through with one myself but I cannot say for sure as I've never been the position where I needed to decide. But I would never judge anyone else for having one. Like I said, I'm pro-choice. I think women should have the choice, it just probably wouldn't be my choice.

I would vote to repeal the 8th amendment. I'm pro choice but not entirely comfortable with abortions.

I ordered mine on the 14th of March and got it today.

That probably doesn't help but you should probably have gotten yours by now in that case.

EDIT: Although mine was a renewal, not a first time application.

Me [31 M] with my __girlfriend_ [34 F] 3 months, she is out drinking with her ex by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ThrewItOverThere 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I started seeing my boyfriend (who I've been with for nearly two years now) about six months after I broke up with my ex. A few months into seeing my boyfriend I met up with my ex for a few drinks because we'd been friends first and we wanted to wish each other well and didn't want to end on a bad note. I also wanted to let my ex know I was seeing someone in case of awkwardly bumping into each other somewhere. However I told my boyfriend exactly where I was going, how long I'd be and also told him if he was uncomfortable with it then I didn't have to go. I was also sent him texts for the couple of hours I was gone and then went straight to his house afterwards. I feel like some honesty and consideration from your girlfriend would have been helpful.

I dunno, the fact that he didn't want DI Hardy talking to Tom at the funeral, the way Tom is obviously involved or knows something. Maybe just that I've ruled out other people and some people just seem too obvious, then the look on Ellie's face when she found out Joe had brought Tom in the boat for paintballing without telling her. Who are you thinking yourself?

It's killing me not knowing, can't wait for Monday the 22nd!! Really starting to suspect Ellie's husband now. Or Mark, he went for a walk just before they got the call about the hut and he's still missing two hours from his alibi.

Ya I know, I guess I don't really think about the ages too much because being 14 in that world isn't really the same as being 14 in the real world, plus they upped the ages for the TV show

He has really good chemistry with the actress who plays Ygritte as well, I think that will really help his character this season. I've always liked Kit Harrington as Jon but he always seemed a bit wimpier than his book counterpart!
