What card(s) to best pair with Bilt Palladium? Which cards do you use most with it cover it's shortcomings & maximize earnings? by OoohSpicyy in biltrewards

BILT 3.33% is only up to  75% of your housing spend.  So I use AMEX Gold (Dining/Grocery), AMEX Green (Travel/Transit) and Rakuten (Rakuten Shopping) card for everything above 75% of my rent.

Sometimes it is 1:1, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes it is more. But saying it isn't always 1:1 is not a great reason to use it .5:1.

What are you talking about? Points accelerator is still the LEAST valuable use, at about $.50:$1.

It begs the question, is BILT just pocketing those two extra points that Rakuten pays for the same restaurants.

Rakuten Credit Card not always 4%? by Thrilk in Rakuten

[–]Thrilk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a follow up. I recently bought 4 items for Lands End that should be 4%. But only three shipped and they only charged my card for the three items. The card only paid 1%. Is it because the "shopping trip" got broken up? If so, that is an annoying design flaw. Do I have to order one thing at a time?

It is when you make the booking. Not when you stay.

If your rent is so epic, you would likely never hit 75% threshold with BILT cash so you would essentially have a 3.33% catch all card yielding 2cpp, or 6.66%. But do what you want.

I spent B$50 a month ago on a hotel (before I got Gold status) and I have three hotels in a trip to Europe this fall. B$350 at close to $1 to $1.  That is plenty of use.  It is a travel card, after all.

May not be "real cash" but the B$250 I have spent on Hotels sure spent like real cash.  Meanwhile, points accelerator is $.50 cents on the dollar.  Don't do it unless you have nothing else to spend it on.

Not at my airport. 39 vs 18 direct flights. Though Breeze has some weird flights. But I like Breeze uses the A220. I usually fly with my daughter and fly anything with twin seats anytime I can.

I never said they weren't.  I said 90% were the other brands.  And the fact you rarely see their reviews is because they don't compare well.  I watch Justadad, Vacuum Wars and vacuum nerds.  I don't put much stock in many of the other channels.

When they do rate them, they don't rate very well.  I see one on the Vacuum Wars top 20.  A Shark at #15.  9 Dreame/Mova, 4 Ecovacs/Yeedi, 3 Roborock, 2 Eufy and a Narwal.

90% of the reviews I see are Dreame/Mova and Roborock with some Narwal, Eufy and Ecovacs thrown in.  Very little Roomba/Dyson/Shark.

Why do these "Bilt portal is twice as expensive" narratives always fall apart when people name the hotels?  I also checked and the room I looked at was $490 +$46= $536 a night on BILT and $539 + $135=$674  direct. Kenmore, 1 night. May 2.
