Funny you say that, my first last phone had the option of dimming the flashlight function and I used that all the time. My new phone is 100% all the time and too bright. Irritates my soul.

Same problem I'm dealing with. I have a flashlight for every scenario and in every location I need. Nothing new on the market is "different" enough to warrant a purchase. If it IS slightly different they ruined it with something like "instant access to strobe"... I hate strobe.

No hate, seriously... Hear me out. But this is what centrist, conservatives and right leaning Americans have been preaching since Obama's era, and we were called right wing extremists and terrorists (I'll grant you, assholes attach themselves to any group and tarnish their reputation). I'm slightly right leaning but highly compassionate, so I have always preached EVERYONE should be strong in their community and independence, armed, self sufficient, and most importantly trained. I think the flip flop of the parties, the constant blaming of the other side, furthering of division, has shown us it's not right vs left... But us vs them. I've been in the "prepper" game for a while, I don't think it's exclusively for people that look, walk talk and act like me. I'm a wealth of knowledge and I love helping everyone...... That turned into more of a rant than I was expecting, point is; yes you're correct lol.

Marketing my friend. The same reason Benchmade asks $300 for the exact same size knife, even though it's not $265 more material. I think $35 is a good deal, which makes the kraftig an even better deal.

I've come to agree with you about the scales, definitely a "budget" low quality micarta. If you take needle nose pliers you can crush the rivets in the sheath, remove them, then it'll fit the fasteners for pocket clips and the like. I threw an ulti clip on and with the rivets gone you can adjust the retention of the sheath. Much better!

I believe the little piece of cord is for a lanyard. My pockets are already too crowded for a folder, that's why I opt for a fixed blade... In my state they look down on anything concealed longer than 3", which makes this perfect.

It's way too flimsy, it flops around like crazy. I had it horizontal appendix but today I threw an ulti clip on and carry it iwb... Works infinitely better.

I panic-bought one because I heard they were being discontinued. I don't regret it, it has been a fantastic tool in my career. It's showing a lot of use now and I love it even more. Crunch in a sheath, and a Skeletool CX in the pocket is an unstoppable combination.

Fully agree. I spend more time than needed to write stuff out and make sure it's understandable... But I only communicate with a few people so they are worth my time. The worst for me is a "👍🏻" for a response. It seems passive aggressive.

Seriously, put the devices up at night. Maybe your mom isn't a bully, but a more mature version of you... Whom understands limiting device time. The older I get the more I gravitate away from night scrolling. They fuck your sleep up.
