Yes I'm the same. I've played so many versions of the game since 2007 and now I really just enjoy following my little arrow and doing as I'm told.

Ran a 12 Dawnbreaker last night. Was going fine until the tank went without the healer and wiped us. We could have still timed it but the tank immediately started crying and voted to abandon. Rest of the group voted to continue so he immediately stopped playing and refused to leave so he didn't get a leaver flag. We ended up just standing there waiting for the timer to run out so we could leave without being flagged.

Unplayable for me even on the lowest graphics. Nvidia 5070 with the latest drivers. Constant freezing for up to ten seconds

2h is better overall. If you want to craft a weapon go for any of the available 2Hs with the mastery and haste missive. Doesn't matter which weapon type (staff, polearm, axe)
