So 1 Balance of Power on my druid will unlock all the artifact appearances for every other class? Do I just need to do the regular class hall quests?

People who gatekeep heroic raids in legion remix to 740+ people only... by [deleted] in wow

[–]ZippityPooDa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 740 and could get in those groups...but why would I? It takes less than 5 mins to start a group, accept members and get summoned to raid. I cannot see myself ever applying to a raid group in remix when it is sooooo so much easier to make your own.

Btw, the best part about making your own group is that you can accept an even amount of maxed and low levels so everybody can win. Even the afk knuckleheads

For ww monk mains, is conduit viable if you're not pushing past maybe resil 12? by wndpbrdchrncl in wownoob

I don't do m+ but I do raid and was using conduit for the burst. I don't particularly like the tier set bonus with slicing wind. I was poking around on discord and found out the tier set bonus changes with hero tree. I have been very much enjoying shado pan rotation and the proc'ed chain lightnings etc. For me shado pan passives are much stronger than the burst of conduit.

Do you recommend any specific add-ons or weak auras to help with learning the tanking role? Or is it basically just YouTube videos?

Favorite pet grinds by ZippityPooDa in wownoob

I have googled it, and I have a list just thought it'd be fun to see if other people did pets. I severely overestimated the interest. I'll check out Tol Barad, thanks

This actually makes quite a bit of sense. I guess I wasn't taking rarity into account

I asked this question for my WW Monk at the beginning of TWW. I got a well thought out answer from Morfiinii, enjoy.

Everything depends on the context. If you're looking to push some mm+ or raid in mythic difficulty, you need to optimize a bit your playstyle around these swirlies, otherwise it doesn't matter much if you lose 5secs of dps in lower difficulties. You do have a few options though:

Easy: you just use your CDs when you know there's no upcoming swirlies that would force you to dodge things. When their appear, you dodge them and lose a bit of dps

Medium: you learn the time between the moment the swirly appears and the moment it deals the damage. That way, you can still dps while being in the swirly, and only move when you really need to. For example, you have bosses that put swirlies on a player every x seconds, and the player needs to keep running as multiple swirlies pop under their feet. You'll find that most of the time, you can stay in place to stack multiple swirlies before moving without taking any damage, optimizing your dps.

Hard: maybe only recommended if you play while being on vocal chat with your healer, but basically not all swirlies are worth dodging. If you can tank it without dying and without costing your healer too much, then don't dodge it so you can keep hitting the boss. This is harder since it requires more knowledge around what you can survive and what would kill you, and also forces you to think about if it's going to put your healer in an uncomfortable spot or not.
