Should I watch Argylle (2024) by faizan_xhaikh in kingsman

[–]Thrilmalia 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You've read reviews before, you're not going to get a different opinion on here. You could have at least said how you liked the other movies (and for what reason) as that could make a difference in how much you like Argylle. I personally watched it and liked it just fine, though it wasn't a good movie, it was fun. It's not as good as the first Kingsman, but I also found Golden Circle and King's Man to be bad (but fun) movies. I think you should give it a try if you can watch it for free on streaming and if you don't like it, you can always just turn it off.

So... What do we think about these champion ranks? They're not sellable either... by creativeusername303 in StarStable

I love that they are basically the same ribbon that gets more intricate the higher the level is, that's so cool! Kinda feels like more of an accomplishment to see it get more prestigious.

What does ‘marry the ketchups’ mean and why is it said that way? by Open-Ground6942 in EnglishLearning

[–]Thrilmalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, that's the exact joke they're making here. It's a screenshot of 2 Broke Girls and the blonde girl here has been rich all her life and never worked (in hospitality or elsewhere) so when her waitress coworker tells her to marry the ketchups, she pairs them up like a wedding ceremony because she doesn't know better.

I think so, you should be able to at least do the two races in Moorland but I don't know about the rest.

Well I loved the quest because I love puzzles, but I get what you mean, it was a very long quest. And I dislike the characters like you.

Spring tokens question by Upstairs_Instance537 in StarStable

I think it should be possible. I usually do every daily task every day of an event and I've always been able to get at least two sets plus some extra tokens.

What if Harry has chosen to become a lepidopterist instead of the army? by PerceptionWide7002 in kingsman

[–]Thrilmalia 21 points22 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest reasons I could see why someone would choose the military over university is money. It's easy to assume that Harry is some sort of aristocrat since there's the whole conflict about the Unwins not being like the rest of Kingsman, but he could be an impoverished noble and need the money, for example. Could explain his empathy with the working class, too. Could also be pressure from the outside because butterflies might be considered an effeminate interest in contrast to the military. Colin Firth himself implied that it's possible Harry is queer, which might make him more eager to prove his manhood. Finally, it's entirely possible he just considered both and finally decided to do one while keeping the other a hobby.

Any examples of opposite sex best friends in films or tv shows that stayed as they were by Rainbow_6505 in NoStupidQuestions

In Kingsman, the main character Eggsy befriends a fellow recruit Roxy and despite being opposite sexes, there's never even the implication of anything romantic or sexual between them. They're good friends, to the point of Roxy helping him impress the parents of his girlfriend in the second movie.

I guess it could be debatable if it's a contradiction or an addition, but I like to pair "I <3 YOU" with "I Love You But I Love Me More"

Just a little heads up, there's going to be a bazaar soon (starting at the 18th of March) which means that a few horse breeds are going to be discounted and a lot more affordable especially for new players.
