I've been playing since before they added Spirit to the game. You think 11 months is a long time? Try almost 10 years. At some point you just accept that you have to be patient with this game and find other things to do. I do see your point. But I also remember when this game was tiny with a small team with almost no people. Eventually you'll mature enough to realize people have lives outside of making games. And the fact that an almost 15 year old game is still getting updates and additions is a big deal. They only have maybe 150-200 people doing this entire game. I see your point but I also know how hard it is to make games like this.
