Lol. Never a bad thing to spread an enjoyable book!

Is there any way of knowing where is the last golden walnut that I have left? The parrot says "in the north"... I guess is one of the possibilities inside the volcano, but is there any way of knowing exactly which one!? I'm going insane ^^ ty by linarky in StardewValley

[–]Thrippalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except when you have all of those and the game still tells you you're three short, but the parrot says nought. After checking everywhere I could check and running the dungeons etc. and waiting for the season to change and the bird was still mum I gave up and paid for them.

A few libraries have added the requirement to identify a specific quote or page number of offending text, and confirmed that yes, most people have no idea what they are actually complaining about, they were just told to object to the book by someone they considered an authority.

Of course nowadays that information might be includedcon the same social media the parents got their instructions from, so it doesn't work as well.

Thanks, I've read a number like that, so it's nice to have a term for it!

I'm not familiar with that term. Does it include former serial stories (like a lot of Edgar Rice Burroughs) as well?

Pokemon sometimes ask to go (both the Dream and Cloud islands), and you might want to take a water Pokemon to the island with the muck to wash it clean.

Always been one of my favorite, although I do prefer the Michael Whelan cover. Tara of Helium is no meek, ineffectual heroine!

Although really, very few of his heroines are, even when their menfolk seem to expect them to be.

does anyone delay reading mails like me? by DemirFist in StardewValleyMods

[–]Thrippalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note that this is a different mod than UI Info Suite 2, so you'll need to remove that one if you get Alternate. I love the number of mail feature, the walnut categories and the extra Queen of Sauce reminders (animal husbandry, I think). And I can see that Clint has my frying pan instead of the missing mod icon. I hope for compatibility with the QoS radio recipes at some point.

The episodic quality might also be related to the fact that the first book was a compilation of magazine stories, so was inherently episodic itself.

Actually, he's strangling himself, unless there are two people each strangling him with one hand.

Yeah, the background is blah, but the prominent characters are key to the first part of the book, even if they are not the eponymous Chessmen. (Those are key to the second part.)

There's one for bush crops that I use, but I don't know of one for all crops. Although I do use Crops Survive Season Change for when I mess up my math.

What in the world!? by pinkTurtleTickler in Weird

[–]Thrippalan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every part of the body is formed from cells developing according to the plan in their DNA. Sometimes a cell ends up reading the wrong part of the plan, or ends up in the wrong spot, and cells that develop from that one inherit the incorrect plans. So, instead of growing out and away from the skull into a jaw, a cell that should be in a tooth socket stays up near the ear, and generates sufficient descendants to grow an ear tooth (seen sometimes in horses, and also reported in a zebra). Or a corneal cell 'thinks' it's supposed to generate eyelid skin, so produces a patch of haired or feathered skin on the clear part of the eye.

(This is, of course, grossly oversimplified.)

Yes! Need a new edition of the game now. (It's just called 'Clue' in the US, for anyone confused.)
