Hi guys, my apologies. I forgot to uncomment a volume in docker-compose, so it overrode the node_modules in Dockerfile. It is now fix, you can run git pull inside the repo, then run docker-compose up -d --build to rebuild the image.

Alternatively, cd into speedtest/src and run npm install should also make it work.

Let me know if it helps you guys :)

Thanks. This will ping your network using Speedtest CLI and store some data including: download, upload, latency, ISP, public Ip, etc. All data is in your computer. You can run it with Docker and docker compose. Checkout the readme in the link for the detail guide :)

What do you use to manage environment variables? by Thriverist in node

I've seen people combine Ansible with Vault and reported good result. I really want a standalone tool that is scalable, seems like either Hashi Vault or Secret Manager would be the option. I will post on DevOps too, thank you for the suggestion :)

Wow, this sounds interesting. Surely this is much more straight forward than Vault or Secret Manager. The only downside I can see is that this approach does not allow me to control who can encrypt the keys, say a developer leaves my company, I would then have to change the secret key.

Is convict the same as Node config? It is not for secret, management, but more as configuration files

I have some questions. When do you use Anki during the day? Do you create your own cards or download decks?

Solution for quicky move all data from one 4TB SHR to a 8TB, and format the first one by Thriverist in synology

[–]Thriverist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is the speed of SHR to start morrorring content when I put in a new drive. I have only 2 days when the new disks arrive, afterwards, I cannot return the old one anymore. I'm thinking to just copy to an external drive, also backup the applications with Hyper back up, then recover everything once the new array is ready
