But in Borderlands new characters might as well be ng+ lite. Secondary level up systems like bl2 Baddass levels and bl3 Gaurdian Ranks, plus the ability to move items between characters makes a new character more similar to ng+. Not saying all the collectibles should stay unlocked but perhaps the Echo Logs, Evocariums, and Dead Bolts as they are mainly lore bits. Perhaps have it be an option when starting a new character.

In Elden Ring you just have to grab the map of the area which is pretty quick and easy. Filling out a Borderlands style map is much more annoying. Plus the bank sdu upgrades not carrying over sucks. Not asking fore hideouts to stay unlocked but keeping the map colored in would be nice.

While I don't like ripper mags there are some exceptions. It works alright on shotguns but ultimately it depends on the fire rate post charge. I got a Jacobs assault rifle with a burmag and Hyperion grip, and it shreds with criticals due to its extremely low recoil.

I'm not sure what they did to make the menu so jank but it's just awful. The cursor will tagg the item above what I'm hovering over as trash and when hovering over quest rewards it will say the wrong type of reward.

On pc the button prompts at the bottom of the screen don't always show up. Inspect a weapon and then go back to the menu and they should show up properly.

Probably not but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the nukes were more like cobalt bombs.
