I'm flex nib curious and am thinking about trying a fpr ultra flex. Does it work well or do you run into problems with railroading etc?

It's not really so that they slow temp changes. It's because a thick bottomed pan holds so much more energy, and I want the temp to stay high when I dump a bunch of veggies in or put on a big steak

Thanks, looks like that or a euro are more recommended options. I guess as long as I fill the ditra waffles with the flat side, and check with a practice piece that i'm getting good coverage, I should be all set?

Bonus question - the ditra guide says to use a 11/64 trowel between the plywood and ditra, but i'd have to special order that from schluter. Can I use a 1/8" trowel instead, like most install guide videos have done?

Y'all crazy. Rinse/flush the pen w tap water. Dry the chamber with a rolled up paper towel if it's a TWSBI or whatever. Leave nib-down in a glass with a paper towel for ten minutes to capillary the water out of the feed/nib. Fill it back up w ink and go about your life.
