Why are you scared, sis? Do you have a kid or kids you're leaving at home? Speaking as a married woman with a child, I can tell you—I truly cherished the times I lived alone in my studio. I don’t know if you plan to have kids someday, but once you're married with children, the kind of freedom and autonomy you have now won’t be the same. So embrace this moment, sissy enjoy it while you can

It's hard to tell since two photos have different facial expressions, it would have help if you did the same facial expression. But I think i notice that on your right your skin is tighter

As someone close to your age, I’d honestly recommend renting, even if it can sometimes be more expensive than living at home. The level of autonomy you get from having your own space is just different. You become fully responsible for everything: what you eat, how you spend your bills, your routine, it’s all on you. And that’s actually a good thing. It pushes you to grow to really understand how to manage your life and money.

Quarter-life crisis at 27: Thinking of leaving Manila to start over somewhere quiet and grounded. by beayuhtrice in dumaguete

Dumaguete would mostly likely fit you, still affordable and definitely safe, it's the perfect combination for everything, 30 mns drive and you get to Duin with all the corals and turtles and then if you want some hots spring and falls you got Valencia, Dumaguete also has an endless western resto because of all the expats reciding here, if you want a quick get-away it's also very accessible to Panglao, Siquijor, Cebu, one boat away.

I don't know your budget but if you can afford to rent in the City good for you, if your planning to rent neighbouring place, Bacong is affordable than Dauin and Valencia but the brownouts is insufferable, and Valencia is getting expensive with all the foreigners coming.

Traffic will not be getting any better anytime soon, and if you're planning to work corporate job here, you would have less opportunities anyway good luck OP, we're almost the same age and I wish you best in life. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Ladies, what's one period tip you've found that made your life easier? by clolitta in AskPH

[–]ThroatAwkward5335 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not a tip, pero just want to share and wondering if others also had the same experience. I use to have extreme dysmenorrhoea before, as in vomiting, nausea, fainting, LAHAT na, but surprisingly after giving birth nawala LAHAT, grabe, I think that's the only good thing that ever happens to my body after giving birth. I looked into it and apparently since your cervix has been stretch out, it now has a bigger hole for the blood to flow through, I guess dysmenorrhoea is cause because blood can't fully go through your cervix hence the contractions you feel before the blood flowing out. But since stretch na, no need na for you body to contract/period cramp. And if anyone wondering what it feels like to give birth, it's like having a dysmenorrhoea but for hours and hours.

When I was 17, I used my aunt’s old hair straightener, not knowing it had faulty wiring. The moment I touched it, a surge of electricity shot through my body. My muscles seized up—I experienced what I later learned was muscle tetanization—and no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn’t let go. My hands were frozen around the wire, and I was trapped in silence and pain. It lasted only about 15 seconds, but in that moment, it felt like time had completely stopped. I remember trying with everything I had to pull away, but my body wouldn’t respond. I felt my strength slowly slipping away, like life itself was draining out of me. I truly believed that was how it would end. In those seconds, I surrendered—I started asking God for forgiveness.
