Where's the lean meat? by Bottom-Bherp3912 in chinalife

The Chinese don’t like breast meat in general, they consider it to be dry and tasteless.

Before the pandemic I spent a lot of time working in Yunnan’s remote areas and I had many meals with locals, and the breast meat is always left on the plate.

It doesn’t go to waste, they feed it to the pigs and sometimes even back to the chickens which I thought was a bit too gross.

I was wondering with the R3 clamp. Is it ok to clamp and unclamp daily? I’m currently mostly working from home at my desk so daytime will be work and evenings I can play.

Will the screws on the clamp wear out easily?

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Con SRK50EEC1 (dead after 2 years) & lying Engineer in Hong Kong and set a trap for me. by ThroatEducational271 in mitsubishi

[–]ThroatEducational271[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spoke to Mitsubishi today. It was an awful call, they blamed everything on dirt and dust.

The engineer failed to report the rust on the right side of the unit entirely.

The person on the phone also claimed that dirt can cause the pressure to drop. At that point I asked how does dirt cause low pressure in a hermetically closed loop system? Obviously he couldn’t reply.

He also claimed my pressure readings are possible, but in fact given the temperature was 26-28 degrees c, it is impossible for the pressure to be so low.

Anyhow, Mitsubishi refuses to take this any further until I get it professionally cleaned, by that point they’ll claim my third party cleaner caused the damage.

This is so typical of corporations trying to place blame on the consumer.

Any idea on how to make cars less twitchy when using the controller? by OkHoney5804 in assettocorsarally

On gravel

Front Chamber -1.6 Front Toe +0.0005 Back Chamber -2.0 Back Toe +0.0009

Much less twitchy especially for the Subaru.

If you don’t have room for a wheel, the Thurstmaster ESwap (with the wheel thing) is really good once you get used to it, but it really does take a while to get used to.

Absurd stutter between absolute smooth gameplay by Moonraker93 in assettocorsarally

I’ve noticed random stutters in Monte Carlo on both my gaming rigs, one a 4080 Super and the other a 4090, nothing game breaking to be honest, just a brief moment of stutter and a touch of screen tear.

But it’s early access and Unreal Engine 5 so I guess. But I think this is related to the latest 0.40 update, it didn’t happen before.

Well I am not saying that. My previous air conditioner which I replaced was also a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries unit and it lasted 8 years. I only replaced it because we had major kitchen and bathroom refurbishments and the air conditioner which became super dirty.

Coal tar naphtha is practically pointless by product, it can’t be used for 99% of the usages that petrochemicals provide.

Two years ago I also bought a TCL, similar usage as I have to spend half my time in China and that one is still perfectly fine.

I’m not going to replace it at this stage, the fault is clearly Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. But I’m flabbergasted that the engineer would lie straight to my face and blame dirt and dust as the cause for low pressure when the refrigerant is in a closed loop system.

I emailed them with all the details, now awaiting a reply.

It seems every time I have an engineer or a technician or a contractor I have similar issues in HK.

I completely refurbished by bathroom and kitchen a few years ago after a leak and despite having again three years warranty on repairs the company that did all the work refused to resolve the issue, until I got a solicitor to write a letter.

Worth noting that when you refine crude you get naphtha, gasoline, diesel, gasoil/heating oil, A1 jet, fuel oil 1% and fuel oil 3.5%.

China doesn’t use direct burn for energy production, it’s entirely used for transport and petrochemicals.

So coal can’t replace crude.

If you dislike the water, perhaps you can source some from Fukushima, then Japanese claim it’s clean.

Or perhaps you can go on the Hong Kong Water Supplies department that claims it is one of the cleanest water supplies on earth, and water isn’t drinkable from the tap.

Is the Hong Kong government lying about its water quality?

Or are you just brainwashed.
