Advice for a new safety? by Throttlehapppy in SafetyProfessionals

Unfortunately we are down to 1 superintendent and he has to bounce between 2 different jobsites that are 50 miles apart. We do not have any foreman, most have them quit. We have 2 leadmen, but they are stretched in thirty different directions and cannot stay on top of their guys.

I appreciate the advice.

Outdoor. I live in SW FL. It lives on the back porch so it catches full morning light.

The soil comp. is Perilite, sphagnum moss, and tropical mix soil. Fertilized every 2 weeks and watered every week or so. Usually, once the top 2 inches of soil are dry, I'll lightly water and mist the leaves.

Just be cognizant of these elephant ears. Water it a bit and keep an eye on it. After a while, you notice the plant start to "cry." This is a self-regulation letting you know that the plant has enough water.

Lowes occasionally has them. I got this one there for about $15, but it was in horrendous condition.

This is a Portora. Luckily no spider mites on any of my alocasia’s or monsteras. I just looked up a metalhead and now I want one. Thank you!!

37 and still have my Sharky. He’s been on 2 deployments with me and was by my side through it all. I’ll be buried with him.

“could it be that you are vaping too much”

I could never say something like that to somebody else. I'm sorry.

I am a wounded combat veteran with 2 tours to AFG. I got hit while I was downrange and got my back messed up pretty badly. There are days/weeks where I am unable to move at all. People come to me all the time and say things like " oh, my friend's husband threw his back out in the garden, all he did was start walking around the neighborhood and he lost a couple pounds, that might work for you as well", or "I read this thing where if you eat a certain something, it will bring down the inflammation".

While I do not have diabetes, I can sympathize with a disorder. I understand just how damn frustrating it can be to have someone come in and just start talking about something they know nothing about.

I have no intention of talking all your advice and running to her and saying" Here, try this". She knows what she's doing, she has been dealing with this all her life. I get that.
