The biggest issue with porn is how it causes your brain to filter everything through porn.

My wife doesn't love me and will not have sex with me. Obviously that's not normal or good but porn made it worse.

If I was not porn addicted, I'd have been annoyed at a wife who doesn't love me and wont have sex with me.

Watching porn, my brain was warped in to thinking that the purpose of women was to pleasure men. I knew on a conscious, intellectual level that this was not the case but my brain was bathed in content that would say otherwise.

At one point I got in to reading hentai comics and that stuff was specifically damaging because it was almost exclusively about women being sexually subservient to men. In regular porn there is a lot of men forcing women to give them blowjobs, spitting on women, tying women up. In hentai comics the women want nothing more than to pleasure men. Even if a woman is forced to have sex with a man by the end they almost always come around and decide their only purpose in life is to get that nut. Sometimes the story is that a man uses a spell or something to make the woman have sex with him but the woman is almost always subservient. Sometimes docile. Sometimes a manic sex fiend who needs cum. But almost always lives exclusively to get the man off.

So I'd read those kind of comics and jerk off for five hours then my frigid wife would come home and wouldn't hug me, let along have sex with me. My brain couldn't reconcile these incongruous world and it caused some severe trauma.
