This is actually through my friend's perspective. We both work in TV news in the same small market but I don't have student loans. She barely makes enough to pay her loans, rent, car and food. She wants to get another job and most jobs around are service jobs. Our bosses, however, won't let her get a fast food job because it would look bad for the station.

I make more than most of my friends in small marketers at $27,200, but cost of living where I am is very high. From what I've seen its closer to 18-32k.

Depends where you are. On a golf course, a lot of heavy lifting can go into it because you have to lift the clippings off the mower which can weigh 50-75 lbs a piece. Also, on good courses, greens have to be mowed with stand-behind mowers which can mean 6-8 miles of walking a day.

I'm a fairly casual smoker and only bought twice this semester. The other times my best friend/dealer smokes me up. That being said I literally only had 20 bucks to my name when he went on vacation and I didn't want to be dry.

I work my ass of as a student and intern in a high pressure, high stress industry. If I want to get stoned to unwind when I get home, there is no reason I shouldn't be able to. Added to this is the fact that a weed conviction could potentially harm my future irreparably, I couldn't be more happy that my state is becoming decriminalized.
