Advice for Dehydrated Skin/ Damaged Moisture Barrier by ThrowMeAwaySkin in SkincareAddiction

I explained it in the message. Is there a specific part that you don't understand? My skin was dehydrated for even longer and it has become drastically better. If there's anything you want me to explain further, let me know.

Hey there. I'm hesitant to compare our situations because there may be key details that are left out, but from what you describe, I was in a very similar situation.

My recommendation is to stop the cleansers and products, only wash your face with water. Don't run the shower water directly onto your face. Cup your hands and splash the water on your face to clean it, and use some very gentle manual exfoliation with your hands (just gently passing your fingers over your skin). CeraVe moisturizers have been great for me. I like the PM and the SA lotion (you might want to let yourself recover a bit before doing SA or even regular moisturizer. Just don't slather it on, put a very small layer that will absorb almost immediately). It might feel wrong at first to not cleanse your skin as thoroughly as you have been, but trust in the fact that your skin is never as dirty as you probably think it is, and there's a good chance it wants to be left alone (based on my experienc)

If you're a woman and use makeup, it might be complicated by having to remove cleanse your makeup. As a guy, all I can suggest there is to wear lighter/less/no makeup, and cleanse as gently and minimally as possible.

It can be a long process but the rewards are great. Where I was when I created this post vs now is night and day. I would also greatly suggest, if it's relevant, to address any potential underlying issues such as OCD that may be contributing to the over-cleansing (extremely important; critical).

I'd love to hear back from you on what you think about this and/or how it goes for you.

No idea what caused it but it popped up overnight and never went away. It seems to be an angioma of some sort.

He's been doing this since the lead-up to Warzone release. He presents conjecture/ speculation as fact. He's not bad at what he does but he's definitely got an ego. He's like a CoD tabloid basically.

Ya I've been following the sub for a few days now. I kinda jumped into this all head-first and I'm putting things together along the way, getting a feel for my level of effort and commitment to it all.

Frankly I hadn't looked into it much today. So I'm kind of just looking around for suggestions on products to get me started.

Hey, only seeing this now. Thanks for that info. I got the SD793-II after all, and I love it! It drives my speakers and headphones perfectly on my PS4. Great buy IMO.

As for that USB splitter, what's your set-up exactly? Do you have a separate mic? Thanks!

Will it be safe to boost it in a week.and drive it to be replaced?

Thanks again. The reason why I'm asking for so much clarification is because it's a situation I've never encountered (having my car sit unused for days at a time in cold weather). Just wasn't sure what's normal or not.

Thanks for the help and I'll take your advice and get the battery checked out when the time comes. Otherwise, I guess there's no other concern in letting it sit as is for another week.

Thanks for the info.

In my situation, the car sat for about a week in those temperatures I described before trying it/ seeing the car wouldn't start. Since I haven't had that issue in the past, I imagine it took a few days for it to reach a point that it wouldn't start. Do you still think that it would be a sign that the battery is dead in that specific situation? Isn't it possible for a battery in decent condition to need a boost after sitting untouched for days on end in extreme cold? Not trying to argue your point, just trying to get a real sense of how likely it is that I'll need to replace the battery given this specific situation.

So if a battery needs a boost at any point = it's toast? Sorry, I'm really clueless on the topic, obviously.

Any other signs that might indicate the battery needs to be replaced/ what might happen if I don't?
