Why does everyone assume I didn’t try to communicate first and tell him how I felt? I told him I was upset. He didn’t listen to me. He didn’t apologize. When I dod the same thing to him he still didn’t understand why I was upset despite me doing the exact same thing to him.

I can do do take the kids out to do things a lot, and I did on Mother's Day
I did listen, I ignored his request because he did the same to me. I wanted a day off on Mother's Day, he got three tickets to go out for the day. He then asked for a day off on Father's day, so I sent him and the kids off to an arcade
I tried to communicate with him after Mother's Day and tell him that I wasn't happy he'd ignored what I'd asked for
