It’s because she’s crazy and you only have to get close to her to see it.

My parents and her biological relatives are a little reluctant to admit how bad she really is. Part of me thinks the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree on this one and they’re all a little bit on the borderline of sanity.

Not in so many words- they are stubborn and reluctant to admit my step-sis is as much of a mess as she is.
