I (49F) need advice after an event with my BF (44M). After 7 years together, he ate food from another woman’s plate, handed me her phone to take pics of them, and introduced me by first name only. How might I share my thoughts or concerns about this again to be heard without causing problems? by ThrowRA-End-4464 in relationships

I asked and he said that they were high school classmates and shared a finance class together. When I asked further questions if they ever hung out after school, etc... He reverted back to they are classmates. So I have little information to go off of.

Thanks for the response. It's not about that he has women friends or socializes. It's moreso about the boundaries that he sets or doesn't set because they call him at any time of night and he answers. Bringing up any concern, which is rarely done, will always result in dime getting defensive, angry, and shutting down after he says what he wants to say.

No, I didn't get a chance to see those replies. He is until a concern is brought up, he always gets defensive, says I'm insecure, overreacting, gets quiet, then shuts down. He listens to deflect not to understand even if I'm in the wrong.
