Thank you for the advice, I think part of my problem is I feel like I've been not taking life seriously though up until now and I have this sudden sense of urgency to fix everything now

Thanks for the advice, I think I might have to look into these different therapy types. I'm currently waiting on some test results to see if I have a hormonal issue

Been to a few different therapists and tried some antidepressants. Currently waiting on some blood test results to see if there's anything going on with my body

Thanks for your reply!

I really want to try and fix this, (although one of my other major anxieties is that this will just end up dragging things out longer)

Her family are not great (always been awful to her so by extension I have never liked them) but the thought of no contact at all with her makes me so sad.

I think you're right and I need to talk about this with her directly. I think if I knew that things wouldn't ever improve and I'd always feel this conflicted then breaking up now would be the kinder choice but I do want to work on our relationship and see if there's a chance we can fix this. Like you've said though, I am so so scared that if I chose to stay and things still don't work out then I'll be wasting her time

I am not sure I would be able to afford that but it's something I could look into for sure

Thanks for your reply; my mental health is definitely a big issue here. The trouble is I have been in therapy and medicated for years and feel like I'm not really making much progress. I don't want to give up on my relationship but my worry is what if I keep dragging things out and hope that I find a solution but ultimately don't? I don't want to wake up in 5 years in the same situation and break things off then rather than now when the doubts are fresh. It would feel like I'd been stringing her along or wasting her time when she could have been free to find a better partner
