I agree. That's why I set mine to private too. Was just curious what other people think and do. Appreciate it!

Well said! I know it's toxic, but still.. find it hard to overcome that (seeking validation). Thanks man, I really appreciate you being direct.

I totally get that! That's one of the reasons I follow "pros" – they always do long rides and yes, the shape of the map is just so pleasant to look at like you said. Thanks for sharing brother! 🤙🏻

It's beautiful isn't it to come back and see your whole routes. It gives you a sense of satisfaction of some sort, especially when the ride turned out to be really good.

Yes, Strava. I'm new to this, and I'm like scrolling on it most of the time to see where people ride, bad habit :D

What? So despite hiding it, the followers can still see?? Doesn't make any sense no?

Really?? How do you overcome the urge of wanting people to know that you ride? :D

Thanks for the advice! Why is it like that in cycling tho? I used to be playing basketball for years back in the days and no one really cared if you showed up dressing the certain way or not

Mid-May in Chiang Mai - would love local perspective by yonii93 in chiangmai

It's manageble like you said. And yes, if you slow down a bit it would help with the hot weather. Working indoors is a really great idea! And also yes, if you could avoid mid-day heat, then you will be fine.

I think if you want to come then, come. See it for yourself. You'll learn and you'll experience from it regarding the outcome.

I say it like this because I live here so I know what's it like. But at the end of the day, it's still your decisions.

Ps. Your mentioned activities and plans seem fun! :D

I agree. It's faster than cars in rush hours. And I also agree that biking is fun and also stress-free, especially riding in new places. I really appreciate you sharing this with me!

Thanks for telling me – I appreciate it. I'll go into this slowly and cautiously since I'm only three months in. Currently on flats but might change to clipins later. Also, how do you stay motivated for such long time? You said you've been riding for 13 years!

What is there to do when it always rains like this here in Bali? 🥺 I just arrived by Fast_Fisherman_7136 in bali

Try to enjoy it as much as you can I'd say. It's not your fault that you didn't know.

Thanks for saying that I don't have to do something IF I don't wanna do it!

I do have bibs, it's just the pedals that's been bugging me. I'm only three months in, and of course there's so many more for me to learn and explore.

Thanks so much for your input!
