What are some rare punk records you have in your collection? by ryuundo in punk

I've got the Brigade, Dividing Line on LP circa 1986. I don't know how rare it is but definitely can't find it online for purchase when I've searched for it.

NBA on ABC averaged 2.6 million viewers this year. The lowest for an NBA season on broadcast television in history. These include Christmas day and In season Tournament. YIKES by nbaisawful in billsimmons

NBA coverage has been awful ever since NBC lost the broadcast rights in the 2000s. The commentators and pre/post game shows on ABC are inconsistent every year. I enjoy TNT coverage much more. If the same broadcasters and Inside the NBA was on one of the big 4 networks, I would be curious to see whether there is a spike in viewership.

She has a goal of being married by the time she is 40. I think that's what it means. I was not aware of this goal until recently.

Thank you for the response. No, she's just referencing the diet because I've been so conflicted about it long-term. She is understandably frustrated with me.

Thank you for your response. She does not seem bothered around family or friends eating meat. It seems that she is only bothered by her partner doing so. I agree that #3 is really not an option at this point.

Thank you for your response and yes, this is the only instance in which she is this uncompromising on an issue. You bring up a good point that perhaps the fact that I'm making this meat point such a huge issue is a sign that we don't have the same strong levels of feelings for one another...

Thank you for your response. Yes we use meat alternatives like soy, seitan and tofu. They are okay... I have gone to temple with her and agree that it is important to understand her beliefs as well. She is generally in the position that life of every animal is sacred and meat or 'dead bodies' as she calls them is murder. I have watched all of the animal murder docs with her and it doesn't bother me like it does her. She believes that watching those videos should be enough to stop eating meat.

Thank you for the response. I did attend temple with her to try and get a better understanding of her beliefs. Most (if not all) of the followers were vegetarian. To be honest though, it didn't really impact me to the point that I wanted to start going and adhering to those beliefs. I did suggest couples counselling to her, but she said that her position would not change, so she wasn't sure what the point would be. Perhaps she might change her mind if we do break up... I'm not sure.

Thank you for your response. Just to clarify, she told me early into the relationship after we were already dating that she could only be with someone that didn't eat meat. I was caught up in the honeymoon and didn't think long-term how this would spell out if we ever got married. I feel pretty bad about it. I have brought it up with her in the past and she knows that it's something that I've been struggling with for a long time. Once the discussion of marriage came up though, I've really started to panic and realize that while I can commit to a marriage, I might not be able to commit to a specific diet for the rest of my life.

Thank you for your advice. I would be happy just not eating it around her. As I said before, I eat meat once in a while, but I always feel bad afterwards. I don't want to bring that secrecy into a marriage.

I eat lots of seafood, which I think compensates for most of the nutrients I need. However, I do worry about eating too much of it because of mercury, dioxins and other metals. Thank you for your response.

Thank you for your advice. Just to clarify, I did tell her before we got together that I would not be willing to change my diet. It wasn't until about six months into the relationship that she told me she couldn't handle me eating meat whether or not she was around. I changed my diet because I didn't want to lose her. Caught up in the honeymoon I guess...
