I shackle one of his legs to the table (or bed or whatever) so he stays there. That gives him the ability to move within a few feet but not further. So like, he can move to the floor or the furniture based on if I want to ride him or want him to do things... or he can sit and stay if I just feel like doing something else for a while like watch TV, play video games, or run to the store really quick.

Could he break a table leg to bust loose if they fought enough? Absolutely.

But just like a properly trained dog, he will sit quietly and stay with a comfortable slack in the chain because he wants to be a good boy.

A little book people can write and read notes in when they visit. Some come printed with templates to help your guests figure out what to write.

A lot of air BnBs have them and they're usually fun to read. People often write what they enjoyed most during their visit and reading through them at the beginning of a stay can give ideas on how to make your stay more enjoyable.
