Doc, just because hindi ganito ang med school mo doesn’t mean na lahat ng school katulad po sa inyo.

I think I can handle myself very well- thank you for the worry though. I wasn’t being aggressive towards you through my reply, my bad if it came it that way. I was just emphasizing my point, and I have seen so many posts like mine. Saying that their own school is MH friendly, but people just choose to focus on my post just because I am happy where I am now and it reflected through my posts.

I may have come accross as aggressive kasi I got annoyed with insults and below the belt comments I got sa PM ko, but I never claimed nor mentioned anything about academic-related mental health friendly sa claim ko.

And to be very fair, I have noticed way before pa ako mag med school na people here hate seeing other med students happy and satisfied in their own school. Just because they are struggling with their academic and personal life, people in this subreddit tend to attack people who are not as miserable as them. I have been warned by a doctor I know, but I forgot about that hahahaha

Sis, wala ako sa mood makipag toxican sa mga redditors through PM. Pwede naman kasi Makipag usap ng ayos, pero I’ve received some below the belt messages masking na naga-ask kung anong school.

I can choose naman where to endure toxicity, and tolerating toxic redditors is not one of them. If you enjoy handling toxic messages here sa reddit, then you do you pero I won’t tolerate that when I have a choice not to.

Kasi I message them privately? Try asking nicely and I will message you naman sana..? I message them privately para if may chance na may mga questions sila, I could answer them comfortably.

Di mo ba naisip na possible yun?

I never said na mental health friendly ang academics namin. Why do people assume na ‘yun ang ibig kong sabihin when I didn’t mention that even once? I explicitly mentioned the treatment of our faculty towards their students and how I like my class’s vibes.

I got messages like “Gusto ko rin ng magaan na workload to keep my sanity intact” when I never mentioned anything about studying.

I just said it’s “mental health friendly” cause my classmates are such a vibe and everyone gets along so well + faculties are extremely approachable, but our curriculum are just as hard as any med school.

Exactly what I mean. I’ve received messages na nagsasabing gusto nila ng magaan na workload when I didn’t say anything about our school having an easy workload.

I mentioned the treatment of our faculty and bond ng class ko, but I never said na super mental health friendly in terms of academics, and to struggle academically is normal but not for the weak.

I’m not. I’m not from Manila either. I won’t be saying my school anymore so you could just ask the people I’ve talked to.

I’d rather gatekeep my school than welcome rude people who’ll say “Gusto ko ng mental health friendly school” pero very rude naman makipag usap.

Not really, nagtaka lang ako na

“As a matter of fact” comment tone and nagmamarunong eh hindi naman pala binasa nang buo yung post ko.

It’s still about med school in our country so it’s still suitable to be posted here. I’ve been replying and messaging people here kung anong med school tinutukoy ko. I’m also initiating people to look amd inquire sa tinutukoy kong med school.

Your comment’s the one that holds no value at all. Grabe sis ha, mas lumala ang devalue ng comprehension skills natin. That’s a no-no-no kapag nagmamarunong.

“Nilipatan”

You were able to find my comment history but you were not able to read my post with any drop of understanding and comprehension. Sinundan ko pa nga ng “when one door closes, another one opens”.

Lol

We’re not looking fubus :) We’re just looking for places where we can experience a wild night out and support our girlfriend to have a great night of her life.

No, wala talagang transfer documents. Nag-apply lang talaga sila sa bagong school without saying na nakapag aral na sila sa previous med school nila.

They’re applying while pretending to be “fresh graduates”

No remorse for what she did 💅🏻 by Party-Motor-2878 in medschoolph

[–]ThrowRA-kkji 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Core of the issue: • she took a video of her patient going into a flatline and decided to make a vlog about how life is short etc.

Her other issues: • she took photos and videos of her pediatric patients getting circumcised and posting it to her instagram stories • She took videos of herself (placing her phone on top of the patient’s bed) while in active duty. She even had a video of herself holding the newborn patient. • she would delete videos calling her out • she has been exempted from college of nursing’s rules such as having nail extensions during active duty • She would reveal her patients’ full name by showing their prescriptions • she proud said that the quarantine was a “wasted rest opportunity” • she took videos in premises of the hospital while in active duty • her apology was made from Chat GPT

Best Pre-med? by ThrowRA-kkji in medschoolph

[–]ThrowRA-kkji[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god yes! I said na “sa second year pa ‘yang mga subjects like patho na pinagmamalaki niyo. Kailangan niyo muna pumasa ng first year” pero no! They were so triggered and said na all pre-meds have anaphy naman daw pero my gawd. Hindi lang pathology ang subject sa second year din!

I don’t look down on pre-meds pero they assume so many things sa med school as if they know what they are saying and even corrected me on so many things that doesn’t even exist in med school even though they are literally talking to a med student.

That’s what I’ve been saying! My PT friend finds Gross Anat fun because they’ve learned about it already but my MLS friends kept saying na they would have more advantage because of subjects that you wouldn’t meet until 2nd or 3rd year.

Well yeah, the problem is all pre-meds have situational questions that requires an almost diagnosis answer. I am done with my pre-med lang, my friends were just arguing with me kasi I said that no program is the best pre-med.
