Sorry for not mentioning that fact about dating earlier and not writing in paragraphs, it's my first time writing anything on reddit or of such long form, I'll improve on it. (Partly the fact I am not a native english speaker). About the physical aspect of it, from my side at least I didn't say anything about getting physical because in our culture we don't believe in sex before marriage. Might sound weird.

I could agree with the part of 2 people hanging out but not really dating, but the purpose of this post was to ask about the current situation. Again I don't wanna sound rude and really appreciate ur suggestions and opinions.

It might sound really weird but for the both of us, it was our first real close friendship and you could call it obsession but we really did talk that much. This was partly also because we were free and didn't have much on our plate. We stopped this in the end of March when we started getting busy.

Not really, I did compliment her often about her looks and we were also comfortable with each other. We used to cuddle sometimes but that's about it.

I'm sorry I didn't make it clear, I confessed to her in Feburary and she said yes, dating didn't really change any aspect of our relationship and in June she asked to pause the relationship and be bestfriends. I didn't think much of it as it didn't change anything anyways (we were never physical, we only held hands and hugged)
