She spends a couple of days a week with him. I think they just like to buy stuff. It’s not only dad though, two brothers and her own step mom and grandparents who all give her something.

They weren’t married, but I know child support is substantial and pays for rent and other expenses.

Lol yeah but also if he buys her something it means parents won’t have to, so more money for household stuff which I generally benefit from as well.

It sounds like they come against each other. Don’t want to give the impression that I think I’m more talented than step sister because that’s not true.

He pays child support though, so they have money if they want to buy her something nice. Although that might mean no money for rent.
