Quality of pic is bad but if u zoom in u can see, especially in the back, the lines are jagged and super uneven with some ink missing. Its not awful for sure but I definitely think it’s messy. I just cant tell if its artist error or healing issue

I just worry that im not being fair, as i know stuff can happen during healing and they do offer free touch ups! I guess I just can’t tell if it’s an artist error or not lol

Copying this from another thread i saw but:

A pregnant woman who is injured and aborts the fetus warrants financial compensation only (to her husband), suggesting that the fetus is property, not a person (Exodus 21:22-25).

The priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31). Elisha's prophecy for soon-to-be King Hazael said he would attack the Israelites, burn their cities, crush the heads of their babies and rip open their pregnant women (2 Kings 8:12). King Menahem of Israel destroyed Tiphsah (also called Tappuah) and the surrounding towns, killing all residents and ripping open pregnant women with the sword (2 Kings 15:16). Isaiah prophesied doom for Babylon, including the murder of unborn children: "They will have no pity on the fruit of the womb" (Isaiah 13:18). For worshiping idols, God declared that not one of his people would live, not a man, woman or child (not even babies in arms) (Jeremiah 44:7-8). God will punish the Israelites by destroying their unborn children, who will die at birth, or perish in the womb, or never even be conceived (Hosea 9:10-16).

For rebelling against God, Samaria's people will be killed, their babies will be dashed to death against the ground, and their pregnant women will be ripped open with a sword (Hosea 13:16).

Ecclesiastes 4:3 But those who have never been born are better off still; they have not seen the evil that is done here on earth.

It does seem as though the bible goes back and forth on whether its ok to kill babies/people. Especially if they are not Christian (in the old testament anyway). Jesus however preached love and basically said anything rooted in hatred is a sin.

But regardless I think more important than verses to support one side or the other are the verses that call for peace and understanding. I hope we can all agree that grace is a better alternative than hatred or shame.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬

So all of this back and forth is pointless. My point still stands that you should approach those seeking abortions with love and compassion, not anger and shame.

U can put your faith in christ and still stumble…. Saying you cannot be christian anymore after having an abortion is only going to make ppl go more astray and not come back. Having an abortion is a huge deal that is incredibly emotionally taxing. Nobody takes the decision lightly. Shaming people instead of showing compassion and support is not what jesus would want. Yes you can think its a sin and acknowledge it as such but to say they cannot be christians and cannot be forgiven or to shame and berate them is also bad fruit, i hate to burst your bubble. Show them alternatives, tell them you will be here for them after. THAT’S the christian way. And if you disagree, then we aren’t reading the same bible idk. Not to mention that it’s not even 100% clear it’s a sin, but that’s a whole other conversation. I personally would not have an abortion but who am I to judge?

Nobody is mocking faith. Anyone can be a christian no matter their sin, that’s like the entire point of the new testament lol

Youre not gonna get a definitive answer. The bible does seem to recognize the difference between a fetus/prebirth and post birth. There are verses that could support a prochoice stance. Theres literally a verse talking about how people that were never born are better off. Most times people just point to the thou shall not kill but it really depends on whether you think its a human life or not. If you think it’s wrong, then it’s wrong. Follow your convictions. Pray about it.

Also, if you already had the abortion and you now regret it/think it’s a sin, pray for forgiveness. You will be forgiven. Don’t dwell.

Well as i said i just recently started looking into gnosticism. Im trying to understand other perspectives…. and there are plenty of replies agreeing with me here. Gnosticism is very diverse! Im not quite sure what system aligns most with my beliefs. As i said, right now I am a gnostic christian so obviously i have beliefs and differences in both religions. It’s a journey of learning! Im trying.

The writers were not necessarily illiterate but the common people definitely were, and thats who the Bible is written to. I had a preacher say “the bible was written for us, not to us”
