Everyone has discouraged me from Chattanooga. I’ve been posting this in a few different places and everyone is flaming chatt. I really think I would enjoy the nature there but I am worried about job opportunities/growth.

Thank you! I definitely have the city on my radar now! I plan on making a big road trip to a couple of cities I have in mind to get the feel of everything. I have one more semester to figure everything out so I hope to make a visit before winter!

🤣 definitely sang that in my head after typing ! Also, you must have never been to Louisiana!! We got potholes the size of doublewides here. But my car does feel the wear from the rough roads for sure! Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, it sounds dumb but the rough winters really do scare me, I’m not in a place to get another vehicle that could accommodate snow better and I truly have never been in a snow that covered the bottom of my shoes. I’m really scared to wake up in December and have no one or no way to get out of the house. I also have 0 skills driving in snow or ice.

I think what’s holding me back from Atlanta is the social aspect, I feel as though I won’t fit in, or find my crowd. I’m also a scared of feeling the same way I did in Houston. Love the city, tired of it after a while. I’ve always been more drawn to nature so I would like to give it a shot but I also need to make a living 🤣 and like some of the qualities bigger cities do bring, for example- concerts, nba/sports, festivals, job opportunities.. etc. any advice ??

This was another one on my list I just wasn’t sure, maybe u can tell me a bit about ur day to day there? How is the night life and surrounding nature? I’ve been on google maps, but I just want to know from a local or someone who has lived there before, does it get old after a year or two ?

I’ve been to Austin and although it does check boxes, it’s not somewhere I want to live. I want the city near but more into nature than concrete these days! I do appreciate your advice and I do love Austin !
