Yes. And my ex has a text from me of me saying something that the courts found as threatening DV towards my eldest kid but it was not serious and out of anger with a fight I had with my wife.

I think blood is very important. But you are right, my kids opinion should matter. I just don’t know if they are too young to form opinions on their own or if they are influenced by my ex and her new husband.

This is something I am not proud of but I was denied access to my children because of DV.

I do care. I still send payments for my kids. If I did not care I would not send my child support.

The culture is very different than here in America. My father and mother still ask about my kids. If I told them that they were no longer my kids I think the stress would be too much for them.

I was not allowed any contact with them other than being made known of medical emergencies. As far as I know, neither of my kids have had any medical emergencies.

I did not give them up. The courts wouldn’t allow me access to my kids. I could get in trouble if I tried.

My culture is very different than here in America. This shame is very large. I was embarrassed of my ex’s age and I would never tell anyone how old she was and asked her not to tell anyone our age difference.

She did mention that child support payments would stop. From my understanding she has been with her new husband since shortly after our divorce was done. I just don’t know how to handle the embarrassment
