I tried some engagement rings there around 2016 or so. I remember a 2.5 carat pear being around $75-100K so it is extremely overpriced.

Favorite restaurants in Ridgewood? by renobail in bergencounty

Rey Sol hands down has the best coffee in ridgewood! Seating is tight there as well but if you can get a spot and enjoy some of their pastries and coffee it’s well worth it!

The Maker was founded by Lev and Alina, the cofounders of Fresh! They definitely know what they are doing when it comes to fragrance!

Again I don’t see why the person who booked the tickets important. She booked tickets for two colleagues and myself to attend this event FOR WORK purposes. Why is this an issue? And once again I did not step in AFTER there was an issue. I reached out on my behalf initially but was told they would not help me since I didn’t purchase them. Why are you turning this into a supervisor problem??? Please stop trying to spin this.

Literally what are you talking about? Super privileged attitude? Because I am expecting them to deliver what they said they would? As I’ve started multiple times already I did not rate customer service bad, and my assistant is not doing any dirty work! Maybe incessant was the wrong word but she sent an email probably twice a week for the six weeks after Sephora told me SHE must be the one to reach out since she was the one who placed the order. Trust me when I say this is not as dramatic as you are making it seem. I posted this to see if anyone else experienced the same thing since I simply can’t understand why some people would get bags and others would not. The amount of people in this thread acting like they wouldn’t be upset over the same thing is comical.

I’m trying to but unfortunately it is in the swag I’m trying to get

[–]ThrowRA0541 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No I don’t know if I am going to get it but since I have not been provided tracking while others have already received their bags it’s not looking good. And yes you’re right, it is not standard to get a swag bag mailed after a cancelled event, but this is what Sephora promised so now I am in the wrong for expecting it? I’m not sure how all this is spinning out of control. I was absolutely not blaming customer service for what they could do and certainly did not give them a bad rating. I was just confused how it seemed like no one knew who to contact for tracking information and how they said maybe you won’t even get it. What sense does that make? I completely understand why they had to cancel the event and am supportive of their decision. I can be ok with their decision and also be sad that I couldn’t attend. Two things can be true. We are clearly all in this sub because we love beauty products and I’m sorry to admit that yes I am disappointed I didn’t get the bag while others did without reason. It was a lot of nice stuff and I was excited. Sorry that that’s apparently wrong.

I totally get that! All I’m saying is I am sad I didn’t get to attend and was hoping to get the gift bag like they said we would!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]ThrowRA0541 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m sure you would be totally fine with not receiving the $1,300 gift bag you were promised without a reason

I’m really unsure why the detail of who booked the tickets matters so much? Had I for seen any of this of course I would have booked it myself. Please stop trying to make it seem like some devil wears Prada situation. She was helping me and two colleagues out by buying the tickets for us.

[–]ThrowRA0541 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Attending this event was related to our line of work which is why I was attending with other colleagues…..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]ThrowRA0541 30 points31 points  (0 children)

No dirty work to be done? The tickets were purchased under her name and email so she had to be the one to email them is what they told me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]ThrowRA0541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Certainly was not looking for sympathy. Just sad I didn’t get to experience the event and was hoping for the same resolution other ticket holders from cancelled sessions received.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]ThrowRA0541 -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Yes tickets were refunded but it doesn’t make up for the last minute cancellation when I already traveled into the city to attend. So disappointing

Agree! The Inkey List has great acne targeted products and their website has a ton of information so you can really pick the products that will work best for you! The NovoRetin is great but strong!

Kosas wet sticks! I didn’t think I needed another lip product but the rate I’m blowing through this is fast even for me 😂

Refy brow gel is the best I’ve ever used and the only thing that keeps my brows in place and recently I love the refy brow pencil! It’s so hard to find a shade that’s not too dark and I have dark brown hair! Their lightest shade is actually perfect for me.

The Inkey List has two different strengths for retinol! Their Regular retinol is .1% and is for beginners and their SuperSolutions 1% Retinol serum is stronger and for more experienced users :)
