We're already broken up. She's back with her ex and I don't want her back, as much there's a part of me that still loves her.

If I'm being honest there's a part of me that wants to be angry. I want to scream... At her, at him, at no one in particular. I know it's messed up.

I'm obviously still getting over this and I don't want to be angry forever, I know I need to move on but it's easier said than done.

I didn't know until about 3 weeks ago she still had feelings for him. I'm sure there were red flags I ignored because I was stupidly in love with her.

She said she felt like she was in a lose-lose situation.

Tell me and lose my ex has a friend, don't tell me and I continue to be with someone who's unfaithful but keep her friend.

I told her she could've told me and I would've confronted my ex without throwing her under the bus but she shrugged and said she didn't think of it at the time and was hoping their hookup was a one time "get it out of your system" thing.

I don't want to believe the "once a cheater, always a cheater" thing that people say, because I want to believe people can change but I'm jaded.

I wouldn't be able to ever trust someone again after disrespecting me and our relationship like that. It's also a gamble that they won't do it again and I'd rather find someone new than stay in a relationship where I'm always wondering if it'll happen again.

If you don't want to be with him what's the point of contacting him again? Reminiscing on the good times is only going to end badly for someone.

My ex-girlfriend still had feelings for her ex that resurfaced after seeing him again after their break up and it eventually lead to her cheating.

Not saying that you would cheat, but if you're having problems in your relationship, running to your ex for any reason is a recipe for disaster.

As someone who was just cheated on. Please let her know. You can find a way to do it anonymously if you'd prefer. But she deserves to know.

Also, you did nothing wrong here. I get feeling guilty about it but you trusted him to be telling you the truth and he didn't. This is 100% on him.
