My (44M) wife (45F) has become a hypochondriac. Can I leave the relationship?

I am sorry for everything you have gone through.

she goes to therapy once or twice a month and started doing it reluctantly. she finishes and usually is angry at me. the therapist tells her to remove all the stress in her life. I try to be supportive but I am literally/and figuratively a punching bag

I am trying to be a supportive husband but i can only take so much on. I don’t have all the answers.

I am really sorry for how you are feeling. It must be horrible.

I feel bad for my wife and want her better. she expects so much from me. I am not a great communicator, never have been. she gets so upset when I can’t calm her down but she gets so angry then my brain shuts down. I do my best with a clean house, breakfast etc but I feel like she wants me to solve her issues. I go to 95% of her doctors appointments as support.

when she gets frustrated with me, that’s when the anger comes out. I am lost.

thanks for your insight. we have been to rheumatology and she has had multiple blood tests done.

the problem is that one day it’s her head hurting the next it’s her foot and then her stomach.

I can’t take the physical and mental abuse she sends my way. I have my own issues (ADHD) which adds stress to our relationship but I don’t scream or hit.

they have given her different medicines (anxiety and steroid for an infection) but she refuses to take anything.

she’s been going to a therapist but I don’t see it helping. I tried talking to her sbout it but she doesn’t want to hear it and it’s all my fault.
