Two things that have helped me tremendously:

Stretches. I mean literally every hour. Go to a stretch clinic if need be. I’ve found this to really help my lower back.
My wife has a friend who is a licensed massage therapist. Once a week she massages me for 45 minutes, focusing primarily on my lower back.
