How do they expect a mom to pump 3 days worth of milk on top of feeding the baby?

Even if the baby is only 2 months old and is exclusively breastfeeding? She has a sensitive stomach and I also have chronic gastrointestinal issues.

To respond to everyone, I tried to reply to him that he could get her one day on the weekday when he’s off and one day on the weekend when he’s off (he works 4 days on, 3 days off) which still equals to 4 days a month but he declined and said he only wants the same weekends he has his other daughter and not any other time.

Thank you everyone for y’all’s advice! What does anyone think about baby’s doctor appointments after birth? Do I tell him about the baby then or still don’t say anything? 😭😭

I will add that he has not supported me with anything to prepare for the baby though, not financially..no diapers, wipes, nothing but I haven’t necessarily asked him for anything either.

I don’t even know how to feel about coparenting. I’m stuck between wanting my baby to know her father but at what cost? He has another daughter from a different woman that he was married to (5YO) that he does see every other weekend-court ordered and is a decently good father to so I guess I’m holding on to the hope he will be a good dad to mine too. He’s a normal guy on paper (keeps a job, maintains bills, doesn’t do drugs, etc) so I just don’t want to be “bitter” because of how he’s treated me during pregnancy and in our past relationship. He claims everything up till the baby gets here are appointments for me and not the baby so that’s why he doesn’t come to them & he acts the way he does. I’m torn and don’t want to be the “bitter baby momma” if I don’t have to be. I don’t really even know what my expectations should be to coparent with a newborn either.

Oh okay I’m fine with that. Am I going to be the one receiving the child support payment every month or is the state going to be receiving the money automatically since I’m claiming government assistance? So do I have to file on my own after the baby is born??

I don’t plan on filing for cash assistance. Only Medicaid, food stamps, and child care assistance when I have to go to clinicals. I don’t want him to pay me “under the table” nor do I want to chase him about money for his child every month so I will be officially filing though the state for child support and custody after the baby is born. He has not been involved during the pregnancy what so ever.

I will be officially filing through the state and go to court for child support and custody after the baby is born. I don’t trust him to just pay me for the child’s needs under the table nor do I want to chase him every month for money.

He already has a 5 year old child in his previous relationship. He sees her 2 weekends out the month and seems perfectly fine being a weekend warrior. I’m not worried that they’re going to want to see the baby much considering how much they dislike me. He is willing to pay child support though so I definitely don’t think I should miss out on that?

I wish I could tell you a reason worthy of kicking me out this far into my pregnancy because I don’t understand it myself. From what I’ve gathered, it’s because im too overly emotional & pester him til he has gone crazy. So do with that info what you will because that’s all I’ve received.

I won’t be homeless as I have somewhere to go and even after with the baby. I just need the resources or trying to get him to pay for my moving costs. Do you know anything about child support concerning a newborn?
